And this here is EXACTLY why I don't play anymore! I have played since the game first became available in the app store and it was great. But it recently, game development went from producing an enjoyable game, to creating game events that are so difficult they practically force players to spend real money if they want the end prizes. Plus, rewards have increasingly gotten smaller and smaller while costs to use items have gotten higher and higher. Again, forcing people to spend real money. I completely understand they are wanting to make money, but they are going about it in completely the wrong way. I am a VIP, but the changes to game development turned me from wanting to spend money to no longer enjoying the game, So I stopped playing. I know of a number of people who have done the same and I wonder if they realise they are alienating players, especially those who have played from early on.

Yup and bare in mind the majority of sims freeplay players are children who dont fully understand the now very difficult and long events

They obviously like any other game out there, want to make more money, they just need to ensure players earn reasonable amounts of SP, it’s the hardest currency to earn. 😅
I managed to get these prizes but I had the SPs to do so. I am aware others unfortunately don’t but I’ve learned for a while now that Sims Freeplay is “free” but is designed for us to spend real money and no amount of complaining about how difficult SimChase or Influence Island is will change that. The difficulty of the tasks is intentional (imo anyway 🤷🏽♀️).

I have adored you Joy, ever since teeny issues and your other stories! I've been watching you for at least 4-5 yrs. But I stopped playing Sims a little before you stopped "working" with them & showcasing their events. It felt like things were getting harder and harder to complete, (I quit around the time the island gameshow came out) and when I realized I never really built anything I decided to play different games. I liked collecting things, but never had time to actually build or play w my Sims because of the events.. also I was sad to see so many amazing glitches get patched.
I still adore your videos! The little owl sound at night in the game still gives me a weird feeling and sometimes I miss my Sims. But I don't miss EAs prices or schemes.
Aww thanks!… Creating the series was so much fun! I have the same sentiments about the game too, exiting EA has been such a relief. I play then game when I want to now without pressure. 😇

I haven't buy any packs ever since I hit vip5 and most of them were small items like the pool cleaner and stuff.
I stopped since I hit VIP 11… as soon as I was able to get a daily free SP plant spin 🌱🤓🌺
@@JoysCreativeFinger I wanted to do Vip6 but I dint wanna buy stuff that's too expensive plus I stopped spending on Sims Freeplay since I just go in do some task get out I sometimes build but most of my builds tend to look the same since I mostly use the same stuff lol just not a fan on some wallpapers and floors
It’s good to hear your voice. I thought we would earned by doing task ( having only 10 days) and we’ll use that to get the items. This update is not my favorite

Skipping stuff with SP also works or buy the keys via sp also works so long as you spend sp it works but yeah spending sp is a why does it exist???? LP is much easier to collect and spend would have probably easier to spend LP rather than SP since it's easier to farm LP than SP
Yes exactly LP is easier to earn so I spend it easier, SP is very hard to earn/make. 💁🏽♀️
@@JoysCreativeFinger the cooking hobby makes getting LP faster for sp it takes so much time doing neighbor stuff if the neighbor don't have that item in town you have to hunt the item in another. And not all task gives Sp even if it gives Sp it's 1 Sp

@@JoysCreativeFinger I just use one small lot with 10 chef I dint need to go past that cause well I dint do the baby glitch so my Sims are limited

HOLD ON : there is a possibility to make a lot of LP with answering surveys (they propose it in the game) and instead of spending 20 LPs to get 2 SPs you could do the SP flower with 20 LPs and get more than that, honestly it was easy for me I haven't spent one cent and I've already claimed prize number 3
Wow .. this game really went down hill. Yeah it looks nice but it's super expensive.
