    I owned this bike for a few months. It was my first bike after Honda Safety Driving School. Loved every minute I rode it and the music the exhaust creates when you ring it. Sadly sold it to fund new investments. I highly recommend it esp for Short Riders like me with a 27in leg inseam and a height of 5'2!

      Did you have it lowered in the dealership? What is the seat height of 450sr Sir?

    • @DarkyMoto
      @DarkyMoto Před rokem +1

      @@armanitanglao3258 Nope. Stock height on my bike. 795mm was the height of it when we measured it. I believe you can soften the rear shocks but I recommend just changing the seats, so that you don't change the suspension (or just make it fit to your body weight so it performs properly).

    On CFMoto not sharing the 450 engine with KTM: KTM filed patents for 490 platform bikes, so Duke 490, RC 490 and adventure 490, sometime around last year, a bit after the SR-C21 concept (which is now the 450SR) became known to the public. The 450 would likely have been the engine for the 490 bikes until KTM decided to scrap that whole lineup late last year.
    Honestly, I think the 450 SR is the best in the 300-500 class bikes. It's got all the features that the other brands, besides ktm, don't have: brembo brakes, a TFT display, 270 degree crank engine, great suspension, and a price tag that sits below the likes of the ninja 400 and just above the Yamaha R3. The only thing stopping it from taking the market of those bikes is the brand loyalty those brands have built.

    • @TrashedRedPanda
      @TrashedRedPanda Před rokem

      It has J Juan brakes which is owned by Brembo
      Edit that's on the 300ss/Dr in the USA

      I am planning to buy one. Can you help me decide pls? Is it true that this makes 20-25 km/l only? How aggressive is the sitting position? Can you do long drive on this one without hurting your back? Your feedback is appreciated.

    • @KuvaCzardas
      @KuvaCzardas Před rokem +1

      @@jansenvillanueva4686 Sorry, I just see this, hope I can still help you. Yes, this bike only gets 20km/l for me, I am an aggressive rider tho, some people can get 27km/l. The sitting position is more aggressive than ninja400 and cbr500r, but a little bit more upright than R3. I have a back issue so I can`t tell you about the long riding experience, I only commute for 40km per day, won`t hurt much if you get used to it.

    I am disappointed that you guys really skimmed over the fuel consumption part WAY too quickly. You really talked about it for 6 whole seconds without giving estimated figures as to what it could be. Because with the 450SR, fuel consumption has been its main contention, many have reported that this bike almost reaches a similar mileage of an MT-07, some report 24km/l, some get as low as 19km/l.

    Thank you for mentioning your height. Showing this bike as a 167cm tall person means that where I live (where the average guy is about 18cm taller) will perhaps be a disappointment. It would be a big help to find a bigger person and just show this person looks on the bike.

    This moto 450 is ( 50hp & 39Nm)
    BUT NINJA 400 is more efficient in FUEL
    Meaning your 450SR is poor engine efficiency compare to ninja 400

    Still wouldn't get it, not proven and no support. If I wanted a unreliable bike I'd get a KTM which I do own. CFMOTO doesn't share motors with KTM.. KTM had to hand over the plans for motor and tech if they wanted to sell and market their bikes in China and go into business with the Chinese gov. This bike doesn't share motor with KTM because it's the motor from the KTM Duke 490 which was scraped. CFMOTO didn't come up with it at all, it's ALL KTM.
