- This video shows my typical day of medical school. My medical school life consists predominantly of studying and trying to maximize and be efficient with my time.
Most of my day consists of either studying, lectures and small groups. I like to start my day early so I can go to the gym for a quick workout and breakfast.
Hopefully you guys found this typical day of medical school motivational and help you decide on whether or not medical school is for you. As always, feel free to leave any questions below, and I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities.

Some say the video is depressing. well, as a med student I can relate to this a lot... That's what we do we study as much as we can so if you're into science and human body you'll be fascinated and excited instead of bored and depressed.
I love my major and im super into human biology but its a sad ass video even for me
I'm not a med student yet (soon to be hehee) but learning biology about human body system is fascinating.
I have a question what do you do as far as making money, like how do you maintain your time. I am a freshman in college and planning on going to medical school, so a piece of advice will be highly appreciated.
Lightning Amvs if your goal is to be a doctor, it should be your only goal. Study hard, get a scholarship. That way you only need to focus on your study and accumulate knowledge and skill. My friend tried to juggle work and medschool. He ended up dividing his focus and lost interest in both halfway through the course. Medschool is an all or nothing kind of thing. Only after you become a doctor do you really have the freedom to choose a more financially sufficient lifestyle.
If you really need some side income in your student years, try tutoring your juniors or work at a library. Or just Something where you can study and work at the same time.

I don't really understand the comments about how everyone is saying that the music is depressing. In fact, the overall theme of the video ties in with the song. It's soft, relaxing, and most importantly simple. Simple just as how a medical student's life is.
Maybe the melody is a little slow and saddening but I also feel that's the idea of pursuing into becoming a doctor. You study a lot and see a lot of horrible shit that most people can't bear to see (blood, wounds, abused patients, etc...)

I can understand the pressure as i have gone through it too, and the feeling when u get your white coat and first stethoscope is just indescribable... Hope u get to experience that:)
As a med student I totally relate with the studying part but... don't you have friends ? it's really important to go out and see other people when you're in med school because it's such an intense life and beeing alone is the worst

In my opinion, it’s okay to just be alone and study. But at least having a few friends and being in the normal social life (not going out too much, normal life of a dedicated student in my definition) is okay!

I feel this in a spiritual level as a fellow med student. Havüng my make-up exams right now. Everyhing is troubling, you cant sleep or eat or hang out without thinking if you can make this good. I'm a medical student too. But I promise my days as a medical student aren't as boring as what has shown in this video. We have a lot of clinical session ,interactions with patients,medical camps, parties and night life.

i’m probably on the “lazier” med student end of the spectrum. i get easily bored with consistent studying (which isn’t great when you’re going to med school) so i try my best to get myself busy with organizations and going out with friends without totally abandoning my studies. i wish i could be like you but then again i can’t

I am a middle school student living in Korea, and my dream is to be a chest surgeon. In Korea, it is very difficult to go to medical school in ordinary high school, so I am preparing for specialized schools and have to study 17 to 20 hours a day to enter the high school I want. Studying is fun, but sometimes I feel tired and annoyed and want to give up everything. I really admire you for all of this and achieving your dreams, and I hope you will become a good medical staff and get people to laugh again.

I am going to finish my first year in medical school within 2 weeks :D I often spend time in Uni from 06.45 until 4 PM (Sometimes when I have lab can be til 6.30 PM) almost everyday. Rarely have time to entertain myself or to work out.

-Wake up at 9am
-Try to study and fail
-It's late shit
-Get dressed and do dishes
-Gets to the bus stop
*bus comes 15-20 min later*
-Arrives 5 minutes late to class
-Reads a bit before the dr apears
-Eventualy goes home
-Arrives and I go with my dog
-Homework/Study
-Sleep

I understood medical school is not for me , but i don't have the courage to quit after 3 years and noone supports me on this kind of decision. So please my young friends, make your own decisions with learning everything about it and choose the path that you will always have the passion to improve yourself. At least you will regret for your own decisions even probably you won't regret. Or live your life depressed like me.
I am a 2nd year med student in Malaysia. But my native is India. I don’t know how its in other places. But i am sure Anywhere in this world, med study life wont be as easy as it shows. This video is just 5%. The rest 95% of med student life will make u regret the decision of taking med. But if we have the passion and dreaming how our future is gonna be, will push us through years.

I'm also a medical student and my routine is simple. I wake up go to colg come back home after 9 hr grind, eat, sleep, dine,use a lil bit of social media and then study, sleep again for a short time🙀🙀 and repeat
