This was very helpful for this beginner. Your approach to mixing and explaining how you got the colours and where you would use them and loving your reference to values and transparency. Also most helpful was what colours to use to correct the tones and all the colours are pure and vibrant. I will be practicing so my skin tones won’t be muddy.
    Thank you so much ✨🎨🌈

Thank you so much Marion, I'm happy to know that this was very helpful to you. I can't wait to hear how this has worked for you! You can even try different primary combinations of Red, Blue, and Yellow. Just make sure of their purity. Happy Painting!😍🎨

Alisa Laporte Art Idk why but I have always just assume that I needed to go spend lots of money and buy many different variances of paints to make beautiful skin colors, but now I can see that’s it’s not even necessary! And I would also usually put white color in when I mixed, but I would also always end up with a very muddy mixture.. I just thought it was because the quality of my watercolors wasn’t the best, guess I’ll have to try only using primary colors, Also thank you so much for the advice, I really enjoy watching your videos they’re really helpful! I’m a student and sadly at my school I don’t have the opportunity to have art class so watching your videos really helps me, and motivates me to keep painting in my spare time! much love

Thank you, I think it's important to know how to paint all kinds of skin tones. All are beautiful!! One of my favorite paintings I did was of a mother and daughter. I did a speedpainting of it called Baby Mine!!
