Maybe because you arent playing it how it's meant to be played. You have a chain of command and a squad within the battalion for a reason. It's a tactical milsim with missions and objectives. You must use real world military tactics in order to achieve your goals and to communicate between the other squads. If you treat it like battlefield your doing it wrong

The helmet sticks out more because of its shape. A perfectly round surface in a natural environment is very eye catching because of how our human mind takes in information. which is why it's best to line your helmet with natural foliage that matches the environment
Also why the Israelis have that stuff on the top of their helmets

It's due to a lot of the time strict lines in an environment of foliage or a flat background make it easy for the eye to point out unnatural lines. To counter this you have break up your silhouette, to have softer lines in the shape of your body. This is why ghillie suits that might not even be fully tuned to their respective environments are still effective at range

Squad is fun! It’s just hard finding a sever that isn’t treating it like we’re all legit outside the wire running a real opp. I’m all for taking it serious. But some folks in this game take it way too far.
It's also sometimes on the opposite side.of the spectrum where noone takes it seriously at all so nothing happens

I played this once and I won’t lie I missed a guy sneaking around with a lmg, when I heard the shooting for about two mins I thought it was friendly because I seen a guy with a machine gun before moving to a better spot. Wasn’t my finest moment

I have a 2080ti and play in 1440p as well. I upgraded my cpu from a Ryzen 3700x to the 5800x, and got 20-30 fps more on ultra. Same with EFT. This game loves single performance.
First guy that I see showing up supposely sniper gameplay....and thinks a sniper rifle is a machine gun....just utterly hillarious

Serious question,how do you deal with voice chat on stream? I just started playing and streaming this game last night and the prox chat during staging is beyond toxic and a huge problem for twitch TOS.
I wish I had most of your squad leaders when I play. Not only do I have to play on low settings, I always seem to be in a server with people that don't want to talk and nobody has any plans.
I suffer from it too.
@@samar949 I'm newer to squad but I've picked up most things pretty quickly. I've had two really good squad leaders. One of them we still lost horribly because the other SLs and the commander were morons.

How do you get this rifle in the game? Do you need to rank up before you can use a sniper or any kind of scope?
No, each faction has different classes with set loadouts. There is no rank up or experience system.
In any military game I play I always use the DMR. It's one of the best rifles you can use. Good for CQC and ranges up to 600yds or so. When I use rifles I never go full auto I always keep it at semiautomatic same IRL
i dont know if you saw the scout car at 5:29 but i noticed it and did the laugh like when youre getting shot at by a hmg and i tried to run then i remembered that this is a video and not me playing
So when you zoom in while ads’ing is that a feature in the game or do you do that in editing??
Bit late but if you are sitting still you can press shift to zoom with a lot of guns
You can focus zoom with that scope?

At least now with a 1080ti i can play in 4k on high with a few exceptions of personal taste turned down to medium or off like bloom, and run at a solid 60, glad they optimized it as much as they have since a year ago.

Drewski what settings do you use because i have a 3060 ti and i average around 80 fps on high and sometimes it struggles idk what im doing wrong
0:50 it's VRAM. My 5700XT has all 8 gigs pretty much instantly filled as soon as I load a map.
I think in your settings you may have graphic budget at infinity. Reduce that with a headroom of 2 gigs and you will be much better off.
I may need to get this game, it looks fun but need to find more peeps that play it, I heard solo is not so fun
