As an 18-year-old Gianmaria abandoned his professional sailing career to take up kiteboarding, realizing his talent and finding joy in progression. Making a bold move, he relocated to Sicily without informing anyone and embarked on a long journey towards becoming a world champion. With not opting for the easy path his relentlessness led him to choose alternate, more challenging routes.
With his cheeky pledge towards his father, Gianmaria urges us to alleviate your parents‘ worries by pursuing our dreams despite unfavorable odds.
