The double checkmark/multiple checkmark thing is happening on Tumblr right now actually, as a kind of joke on the whole situation they're offering *two* checkmarks for $8, and you can even buy that multiple times and it *stacks*. There's folks running around with 20 checkmarks next to their name, it's hilarious 😆

Americans are using their social security number to identify themselves while it was absolutely not designed to do so, it's just a number so isn't related to a card with anti-forgery mesures, it doesn't have basic biometric information ( Fingerprints ? Physical description? Not even a picture ?), The number is extremely basic : if you increment it by 1 you will have a valid number for someone else, a good designed numbering system won't allow that, and you can guess most of the numbers by just knowing basic informations about someone.

@@arreilaa4872 probably because it made people artificially extend their videos to reach 10 minutes, 8 minutes is a lot easier for people to reach so it’s just better for creators. Also I’m pretty sure CZcams can put their own mid rolls on any video regardless of if the creator is making money off of it, meaning the company is able to make money off more mid rolls too, which is probably the main reason.
