Fun Fact: Talbain's last name is a portmanteau reference to the 1941Universal flick 'The Wolf Man,' starring Lon Chaney as the titular protagonist/ tragic monster. The character he plays is named Lawrence Stewart 'Larry' Talbot, a naturalized American of Welsh heritage and aristocratic descent, accomplished actor and astronomer, who one day decides to return to the ancestral home of his family in Llanwelly, Wales, where he is greeted by his father, John Talbot (played by Claude Rains, who isn't a stranger to universal horror; he was the one who portrayed the original Invisible Man, Dr. Jack Griffith, because the director of that film James Whale, who had previously worked with Karloff on 'Frankenstein,' wanted someone with a powerful, thespian voice... after all, when you can't express emotions with facial gestures, you need a really good voice to convey the megalomania of Jack Griffith).Talbain is 'Talbot' and 'Rain(s)' combined into one surname; his first name 'Jo(h)n' is a reference to the character Rains portrayed in 'The Wolf Man.' I would like to see a crossover of these two working as a team against a greater evil. Talbain is all in agility, accuracy and speed and Sabrewulf is all in blunt force and instinct. Both have actually many common points. they are both men who were turned into werewolfs, both are fierce fighters and have to deal with the downsides of being a werewolf.
Also, That r34 joke from boomstick was funny.

I was one of the few people who remembered that show among my friends, one of them though I made it up in my head. IIRC they showed it on Nick back in the day..I'm talking early 90's back in the day..

To put into perspective. Sabrewulf was a guy that preferred a neck of a bottle to the hilt of a sword. And the cut happened when he was drunk.

I love how Talbain and Sabrewulf are total opposites of each other. Sabrewulf is what Jon used to be and Jon is what Sabrewulf wishes to be.
