Being a menace in the tank or any vehicle, is one of the most fun things.
Its way harder than people realize to stay alive the whole game
I usually play silk road 24/7 as the americans and constantly rotate between the flags closest to the spawn as armored security. I usually go 25-0 doing this. However people love trying to C4 bike you eventually.
It's not fun for others tho because of these people i stopped playing large maps with vehicles.
@@rousrouslan4023 Have you tried the c4 bike method? The sand dunes on silk road do good for hiding you from the tanks until you get super close to them. If you put AT mines on your bike you can instantly detonate them by getting out of the vehicle.

Even if it isn't exactly the real purpose of a tank, there's nothing more satisfying to me, a former 'Bf tank main' than shooting down a heli or a jet, be it from afar or up close. Seeing that fireball in the sky, knowing that either by luck or skill, you made that shot connect... Always an incredible feeling! BF 4 Life! đ
it makes me happy to see battlefield 4 come back to life all of the sudden that theres even tutorials for new players about how to play a game that came out in 2013

30+ on standard ticket cq sm is normal if you can get into a vehicle. I'm sure you can do well if you keep practicing. I had 40+ a few days ago with the RPK on an official server. Map knowledge and predicting enemy movement is most of getting huge kill streaks.

@@bronzebow4235 pkp with heavy barrel and stub grip is super accurate against multiple infantry moving across an area if you need more ammo per reload im also working on getting attachments unlocked for the chinese QBB lmg to see if its any good

I loved the tank back in the day, i was pretty good in it to. I didnt play battlefield to run around, i was absolutely a vehicle guy, looking forward to see what 2042 brings on the vehicle front.

Nice gameplay, I have the same set up in the tank standard shell, HMG snd thermals. I also love the way the tanks move and operate on BF4 and hope itâs in BF 2042
I hope they feel like tanks and not a four wheeler with a big gun. The vehicle movement/acceleration is way too fast currently.

One thing i never knew in my whole BF4 career, in tanks, if you hold the prone button while you drive, you go into crawl mode and can drive over mines ;)

I always have gun ready for popping out of mAh vehicles
i use zoom always, lets me snipe inf and vehicles from far away and get that range advantage.
Cool. I prefer thermal myself, it's surprising how far you can make out enemy players. Plus if you get in the habit of switching to thermal every now and then but especially as you approach bottlenecks and other strategic locations you get to see the enemy mines and blow them up without missing a beat. Good times.
@@rmm3803 i have found out that im really good at spotting small movement and targets so the thermal is not that usefull for me. I used to use it all the time and felt like i couldnt spot anything without it anymore so i stopped using it.

Yes I use the tank more as artillery aswell. I just wonder why they dont add tanks suchs as howitzers for long range artillery

Assuming the SOFLAM makes a return, in BF3 I'd plant one somewhere in a discreet location and then respawn as Engineer. (Gulf of Oman was simply perfect for this).That way it was possible to take out targets literally on the other side of the map with guided weapons from either the vehicle or with my Javelin depending on the circumstances. Got banned from servers a few times for this... one time I even decided to stop using it during a match after a pitiful request from some truly frustrated dude who I'd taken out 17 times back to back, which was my highest kill streak at the time. Sigh. Good times, BF3 was so effing awesome!
Anyway, basically the idea would be to generally utilize any standalone targeting devices that might be in the game in a similar manner.

Tank gameplay in BF IV is so easy when I compare it with BF5- tanks in BF4 are fast&agile like a buggy, durable like a tank :-).

why is your enemy simbol different from mine?
here is a protip for using tanks, dont get to caught up with the hype on AP rounds, sabot are just as good if not better on the bigger maps. same dmg to vehicles, less splash dmg against infantry but it has less drop and a faster bullet velocity then AP. NEVER use HE rounds
Yeah the sabots are good rounds to use, you get good heli kills from medium to close range probably the most satisfying thing lol

I know this is probably silly to say at this point in BF4's life, but AP shell + thermal camo is much better on LAVs. 25mm is roughly inferior to AP shell in almost every scenario.
The reactive armor is broken on the ifvs since it makes them almost never get mobility hit and the splash dmg from the high explosive rounds is too good to pass up.

2:43 Can't slow drive in the tank? You most certainly can. I play console and use the tank as cover for my mates all the time by driving at the sprint speed. I assume you can do the same with a pressure sens keyboard.

How to do this:
Step 1 - Get in tank.
There is no step 2.
as a 200+ tank service star player, the thing that will get you killed the most is random blueberry gunners. They love to shoot at everything but infantry, they will shoot tanks and rocks telegraphing your position to everyone. And my favorite they love to shoot the attack chopper and bring him down to kill both of you. The 50 is point defense for the tank, not an AA battery you noobs.
as a bonus, they also shoot randomly making a very annoying ruckus
I wish the thermal was never added to the game. Broken AF honestly
it was fine in BF3 where you had to at least give up something crucial to use it. (IR Smoke)
If it's in the next game it should take up a secondary weapon slot or something. You want easy target acquisition then you have to give up an entire weapon to use it.
Same for attack helicopter, MAA, whatever.
Here my advice for improving in vehicles. Just keep at it, eventually you figure out a play style
Tanks are always fun. I achieved 7000 kills with Tiger I in BF5.
I spent more than 1600 hours in tanks in BF4. Helis and jets I can handle too, but the rounds are won on the ground. In my opinion, farming killstreaks from the air without capturing flags is boring.
Shooting down helicopters and jets with tanks is also fun. One eye is always on the sky. That's why a game like "World of Tanks" is not for me.
Ive heard War Thunder is pretty good. Like WoT but with boats, planes, helis etc.

I find tanks so difficult to use in bf4 they literally feel like paper mache. Prefer how tanks were handled in bfv they seemed more effective but not OP except for tank sniping that was annoying
Well, you have a 3-sec invulnerability window. Once it ends you need to force yourself to reposition, or else you are pretty much dead. Keep that mentality and I guarantee you big streaks.

Not suck, just keep maneuvering, and before that level up your tanks and unlock special features for each one of them and you'll keep running good.
I found tanking on bfV so boring, bf4 is pretty good aside from the fisics (Sticking to everything)

So much SHAKING. trying to drive a vehicle in these games makes me sick
Vehicles are the best part of bf4, but sadly I have to agree the tanks can feel way too bumpy at times, making it hard to get on target in situations lol I recommend turning the vehicle gunner sensitivity down to like 20%
@@yesdude3914 yeah I like that there's vehicles and destruction and shit that makes the newest cod games feel like they belong in the ps2 og Xbox times lol but I don't think it's the sensitivity or the terrain alone, I believe there is some stability issues too.
