    4:17 beautiful use of the transceiver redundancy to check for errors. 👏 🧐

    This is such a smart idea lol... I was expecting just a regular wireless redstone detector and stuff... but no way this sending full data which is insanely cool :D
    Nice job to those who worked on this

    Wow, this is great, it looks really robust!
    I'd like to clarify the inner workings: When the daylight detector changes (at a fixed, global interval), each machine in transmitting mode will transmit its data, and if it gets it wrong, will retransmit it (the entire string of data again? or just the bits that were wrong?) until it's all been correctly sent. At the same time, each machine in receiving mode will listen for data until it has no errors (how does it know there aren't any errors?).
    Is that how it functions or does it do something differently?

    • @ImKairyu
      @ImKairyu Před měsícem +2

      So we have it temporarily send just on daylight sensor. But we have a priority system for each sender set up. We can check for errors on the transmission side, and then at the very end we send an extra bit if there was an error. (That's how the receiver knows) We also only resend the incorrect bits.

    I noticed your receivers didn’t have a re-log reset… I’m assuming you’ll know how to reset right?

    • @ImKairyu
      @ImKairyu Před měsícem +3

      yes, we didn't add it yet since we were still experimenting to see if there is a pistonless method

    • @jonathanpeters4240
      @jonathanpeters4240 Před měsícem +1

      I'm curious if you've found a way to reset without pistons. I tried for a while but seemed like moving the blocks was the only way

    • @MECKENICALROBOT
      @MECKENICALROBOT Před měsícem +1

      Ok cool, I haven’t found a pistonless method either. But I don’t think it’s necessary. Part, cause it’ll be set once the chunks loads… and builders on the network can account for it.
      Real talk tho, I’ve decided to do high frequency and low frequency transmission formats, and ended up calling “rud” *REDio*.
