Thanks for sharing. I had Cushing’s about 8 years ago. It was life changing. Due to a history of overeating, my doctor kept saying “eat less exercise more”. I lacked energy, had hair loss, put on 60lbs, and was eating less than 1000 calories a day. It wasn’t until my legs gave out at work and I fell, that the doctor recommented me to additional specialist. I had a tumor removed on my kidney, and was on prednisone for a year. I am doing well now, however it was a long journey to recover.

Thank you for posting this. I have watched a lot of videos of this and very few are encouraging. I'm being tested now for this and I'm praying for the kind of results displayed here.

First i invent high blood pressure..when doctor started diagnosis i discover i have high blood sugar, high cholestetol level pink color abdominal stiae...when doctor gave me cortisol test the 24 hour urinary test was almost double as far normal range is confirmed...but acth and blood cortisol was normal...aftet that they gave me ct scan of adrenal gland and it also remained normal...after one month they again gave me 24 hour urinary cortisol test but it was negative then...the Low dose dexamethasone test was also normal...i have often asked have i ever took steroid! Yes i had a eczema before this disease so i took a high steroid ointment named clobetasol ...but i dont use it for almost 3 months...still i have high blood prssure ...what should i do?

Hi there. You should ask your doctor to do an abdominal sonar on you just to see if they can see any tumors in your adrenal glands. If they dont then they should do a CT scan or MRI of your patruitary gland in your head since the tumor could there as well. The best option for a cure is definitely surgery to remove the tumor. I was diagnosed with cushings in 2011. Had the tumor and my right adrenal gland removed and all my medical issues like high BP, high cholesterol and diabetes went away within days. I have lived a pretty normal life since then with no medical issues.

See another doctor, get tested over & over... For many, diagnosis can take years to nail down. Some people have cyclical cushings.

I too used clobetasol for over a year and have had similar problems for fhw last 12 years. I have gained well over a hundred pounds even though I have done everything right.Could that cause endocrine problems?

let me tell you all this..after yrs of not listening to me they put me on spirolactin then later ketaconzale..both aren't to be used longer then a yr.. keto causes liver failure and if not monitored can kill u..I took myself off after being on keto for 2 yrs bc I read and MRI which said extensive liver damage!!!I took myself off and called my local endo..she said oh ok. that's good u took yourself off!! I'm much worse w/o taking it but I want surgery in the bad adrenal and NOONE will touch me..this disease has slowly killed me for yrs while they watched or ran the same tests for yrs after KNOWING what I had..or bouncing me to ANOTHER specialist...this is. b's!! I've studied all this for yrs I could have a degree by now..I seem to know more then MOST Drs!!! I'm still sick and angry..sorry for the rant..I'm just so tired of fighting for what should be done..why do I have to educate and beg??? long story short..I'm being blackballed while fighting for my life.. anyway my point is the medicines a bandaid..don't take it for longer then a yr..!!!KETOCONAZOLE. yes an antifungal also..

@@jackiebilder5183 You are so correct. they make you sicker wile they roll in the money. cushings patients in the past 70 years are all mental patients in state hospitals. not now for a pressident shut them down. they knew cushings is medical but knowing they don't know shit about the illnes they tried for years and still try to order patiants to shrinks and drug them with poison . i went to many docs and they are the same as you said. a few i know had steroids for poison ivy and now the good health they had is cushings like D. Can you believe they are trying or all ready replacing steroids from opioids. THAT IS PATHECTICLY DANGEROUS. people would be better off today to wear a braslet if i am passed out don't inject any thing and let me pass in comfort and not complete agony is worse than death.
