Love the ingenious use of hidden magnets! (Behind to wheel on the wood tower. They help to “suck” to balls into the hole and keep them from falling out during the ride) This gives the unit a very clean look and likely contributes to the speed performance.
I believe you're mistaken. The balls stay in the wheel because the hole is drilled at an angle. You'll note that the wheel support tower blocks the balls from rolling out until they reach the desired position. The metal you see on the back of the tower is the nut securing the axle.
Yes, I think you are right! The holes seem to be drilled toward the edge to about half the depth and then toward the centre as the exit the other side. I now see how they fall toward the dented as the disk moves. Very delicate design! Love it!
You do such neat stuff. I love watching all those videos. Where did you get the gear down motors? Would love to get a few of them and make something with kids.
@crocket1221 there is a simple trick to getting the wires bent: you take a lenght of wire and bend it around a cylindical object, eg a pipe, a dowel or a glass in oder to make parallel curves you simply take a shorter lenght of wire for the inside and the longer piece for the outside and bend them both around the same cylinder then align them until they are exactly parallel to each other. For the end loops you bend a short piece around a dowel and solder that into place
I must be being really stupid but I'm not sure how the angles of the holes in this wheel works. Normally the hole is tilted so the marble rolls in, then the hole would be tilted the other way after 180 degrees of the wheel rotating so the marble rolls out again, but in these cases the marble enters and leaves on the same side of the wheel. In your wheel the side the marble enters the wheel and the side the marble leaves the wheel are different. -comment continued below-
so how fast did it go? like 2~3 balls per second? then that would be 120~180 per min. and can you somehow make it faster? everything faster is better. you found any use for it yet?
Are the holes drilled from one side or are they drilled from both sides at different angles. I have not been able to get the balls to go in one side and out the other.
change the return arm to drop the balls farther from the wheel, then turn the beveled holder into a longer channel so that the balls are basically sitting in a single file queue
Applications like these on a larger scale of course could have great uses in making power. I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to see you make a perpetual motion power maker. You'd be a billionaire.... Or the rich people who own power companies would assassinate you lol
🔵 You evidently know quite little about physics, or you'd realize that the only way this device could make power would be if you sat there and CRANKED it!!
Way cool ! If you make the holes at different positions you could create a drum beat ;-) Add a little Piezoelectric mic and a small amp and speaker ;-)
The only way I can see this being possible is if the marbles has to roll uphill slightly when they enter the wheel at the bottom, is this what happens? p.s. nice machine
Was actually looking for the clip of the tiny wheel from The Office but wow! This was so much cooler! I love it!
Great stuff, denha. All of your mechanisms & videos are very well done.
This machine proudly deserves the name: energy dissipation machine

What is the specification of your drive motor and where do you obtain these, Thank You
Very good craftsmanship !
You do such neat stuff. I love watching all those videos. Where did you get the gear down motors? Would love to get a few of them and make something with kids.
Very efficient! Well done!
Very good, quite ingenious in fact! 10/10
Great 👍👍👍 creativity
Mesmerizing, I loved it.
Very cool. Also very good desk setup :)
You should really sell these! The sound of it is really soothing making me sleepy :P
that is such a satisfying sound...
what is the metal thing ? and what kind of marble did you use? metal or regular marble?
FINALLY!
You finally ran a machine at some nice speeds!
That was awesome !!
That is some awsome stuff!
what kind of wire you use to make the slider? thankss
Super video.
Oh my God this channel is so good i love your content so much , i hope one day my videos could even be half as good as these.
Of course I find this video after I asked you about the wheel holes the other day!
Hey, I really love your creativity but may I ask, what types of motors do you use? That would really help.
looks like a dc motor, you can salvage them from old electronics or buy them online
I just spend 5min of my life to see balls fall down oO and I love this oO
Can you tell me the specifications of the motor attachment you used please?
why did i like this so much?
You are an inspiration! :D
Congratulation! ... You just proved that a ball rolls downhill...
I would very much like to know where you buy your motors and gears.

denha thank you.

Awesome job....
Amazing! I really like it :-)
cute art well done sir
Why is the so mesmerizing? Do you sell these ? Amazing. Drew
How much would you want for that first item?

4:43 Va a estallar!!! . xD
An adjustment to youre wood ramp can make it run smoother
Truly amazing man, great job even tho i randomly found this video =D
Do the holes have to be drilled at a 10 percent angle in order for the balls to drop ouit due to gravity?
yeah that's probably it, thanks, you're a genius!
Hypnotizing!
It makes a great sound at 2:15 - 2:30! We'll done. What are you using for a speed controler?
Its a brushed motor, so the only RPM control he has is with the voltage from the power source :)

If only I didn't have a screw lose and lost all my marbles I would try building this.
Hello 4 year old pun
Where do you get your marbles from?
Could *HAVE* be a great metronome!
Nice...i want it on top of my office table.. :)
so how fast did it go?
like 2~3 balls per second?
then that would be 120~180 per min.
and can you somehow make it faster?
everything faster is better.
you found any use for it yet?
Hello + Denha I loved your marble machine, if I could pass the measures is that I want to make one too.
Чем бы детя не тешилось,лишь бы не плакало.
Hermoso, casi hipnótico de ver.
Your test is passed 😁😁👍🏻 hahahah enjoy the sound
Hypnotic!
Лайк!!!!прикольная штучка
"But, mom, I want to ride that wheel again!!"
Fuck you

I love it.
did u angle the drill holes?
Isn't this so satisfying to watch?
It's a mad house! A mad house!
I really like that

With this sort of ingenuity you could probably open up a portal to another dimension..Be careful.
what size bearings are those?
Way cool ! If you make the holes at different positions you could create a drum beat ;-) Add a little Piezoelectric mic and a small amp and speaker ;-)
Remember when Lucy & Ethel were at the end of the chocolate assembly line? This is the mechanical version. LOL Poor little machine.
This time you didn't use your little chopsticks and everything went bananas!
¡you are a genius¡
are these holes drilled at an angle?
even i dont see see the benefit : very nice construction
interesting, thanks for sharing
the holes are probably cone shaped, so they will be outwardly sloped no matter what direction they are turned
you should make it so that marbles can move the motor and there is 2 wheels for the motor to be able to rotate :D
9/32 inch stainless steel ball.
what is the work out put in this
Free energy!! :)

Great work. I wonder how you make your motor turns slowly, but not fast.
you can buy geared motors... little gearbox on the motor.
I love this kind of stuff :)
im not gonna be the same anymore
Super ideas
Yes, and it will intertain you long time baby!
erm do you ordered those balls? or u bought them in a D.I.Y shop?
it looks cute
Very nice 👍
cool stuff
It is a good idea.
where can i buy one?
U R amazing😎🤔😁

I liked the part when the wheel turned.
so good
I think i will pay top dollar for just that little contraption
Игрушка для дитей. Молодец.
very nice
Awesome
when do we get to buy one :D
