hello, I really didn't understand at 2:45 how did you connect the gable roof and main roof each other ?

The main things are:
1. Do not select the roof you like to connect
2. Select the roof you like to connect the other roof too.
3. Be in the roof tool
4. Control click ( on PC ) side of the roof you like to connect. Don't click on the roof ridge or the roof construction line.
