- You can learn how to Make String Eggs out of Yarn Thread or String in this DIY tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. I'll show you how to make an egg out of string and glue for Easter, Spring, or any time of the year. You can use regular string, twine, crochet thread, yarn, or embroidery floss to make these eggs. This is a fun project for kids of all ages!

After the egg dried I Love how you added a simple ribbon and tied a bow at the top of the egg it really made it a more elegant peace for home decor with that simple step!!! Thanks for sharing!!! ❤

I gave this ago, when i popped the balloons the cotton had stuck to the balloon, then the whole thing collapsed when I tryed to remove the balloon, any tips on that please

What are the little wood things you are using for stands?
It's been many years since I did this video, but I believe those are unfinished little wooden candle stick holders. I remember getting them at AC Moore, which has since closed several years ago.

can you use a glue stick because i am trying to get all the Spplies so i can make it and thank you for making this vidoe i really like it

Can you use wool?
You can use any type of string or fiber that absorbs the water and glue mixture nicely. Sometimes it's a trial and error thing too. Some fibers do better than others, but most natural fibers do very well.
