Amanda, NICE job of the overview of the festival; you really caught the sense and spirit of it (from someone who has attended many years); and Peggy thanks for the extensive sheep-to-shawl coverage; I did not end up coming back on Sunday and so I missed it; your coverage gave me the opportunity to experience it at least virtually. So happy that "my" Chesapeake Fibershed team placed third! This was the fibershed's first time having a team; I'm very proud of them. AND how great to see the young people participating! So nice to meet you Saturday. Hope you get home safely.

Glad you had a great festival, no surprise that Blue Crab color sold out...I did love the Grease references (Pink ladies, sheep/Grease lightning) in a competition where they are spinning/weaving "in the grease" =)

Well that’s a huge event!! I wish they wouldn’t include the shearing in the speed part of the Sheep to Shawl, to protect the animals more. 🐑
