Totally agree with you about the people who swarm around a seller when they are trying to set up and start taking things out of your car and stuff...I have been know to chuck everything back in my car and close the boot until thye all just go away and leave me alone or ask a ridiculously high price for everthing they are picking up- that usually works!! I agree with you Dave and I just think its rude and bad mannered.
Scared me there for a second Dave, thought you were gonna pick up that awful looking England top that they must have bought from a market, phew crisis avoided.

I think the Clarks shoes you picked up were men’s. Womens are D standard fitting men’s are a G. I would have picked up the football shirts. Hi I have recently taken up reselling and your videos really inspire me. I have been thinking about the long term and wonder how I would do my tax return as you don’t get any receipts from car boot sales so how do would you take this into account for when your doing your tax return thank you keep up the good work I’m gaining knowledge with every video
I record every boot sale purchase on a spread sheet and separate each boot sale trip in a separate block.
This is the record I use for tax purposes
We all know that it’s impossible to get receipts from boot sales. Technically this isn’t entirely adequate, but it’s better to have records than not.

I'm finally gonna take the plunge and set up an eBay shop and register with HMRC etc. I have a question though, from what I can see I have to inform my mortgage company if I want to use my home to run the business - is this right? I work full time so this will be a side income so it's not like my circumstances have changed on that score, but obviously I don't want to violate my mortgage agreement. Can any one who's in a similar situation help me, I'm so confused!
I can’t think of a reason why you’d need to tell them.
If you think it might, you’re best checking. But why would they care!

Selling used helmets are a risk as you don't know the history of helmet. The MFG date has a 5 year life span, as the chemicals in compounds get weaker. If a buyer gets an injury ebay will not be on the hook, but the seller will. Try going to an insurance company and getting a policy to insure your helmets and tell them that they are used and maybe expired.. I doubt you will get a policy.
