The thumping of the soundtrack actually being the thumping of a chestburster breaking out is brilliant
Plus the part without sound due to the lack of oxygen that echoes the famous punchline of the first film, it’s very classy.
We don’t know the final result yet but we will all agree that this trailer is great.
The fact that the director said this will be a lot like alien isolation I was sold cause that game was terrifying

Alien: Isolation is so good. Any gamer who loves Alien needs to play it imo.
and since Romulus takes place between Alien & Aliens, he reached out to both Ridley Scott and James Cameron to help create connective tissue to the two films.
That shot of the character floating in Zero-G towards the acid "splats" floating in the air is going to be tense. New nightmare fuel.

I've been waiting for a video from you guys on this. I don't think I've been this excited for an Aliens film or a theatrical release In a long time let alone horror. The teaser was the perfect hook and the latest trailer just added to the anticipation for the movie. I was worried about watching this trailer but it showed just enough to get excited for the movie. This has a look of Alien and Aliens, the feel of Alien and Alien 3 and the high aggression of Aliens all combined together to make this film 😁 Fed Alvarez is a great horror director so I am looking forward to this with the first Alien being one of my all time favorite classics to watch! Also, since seeing Evil Dead and Don't Breathe, I am watching every step this man (Fed Alvarez) makes
I didn't have much hope given the past, but seeing the trailer I actually think its going to be ok, it might not be super ground breaking we just need a decent Alien movie at this point, something to build upon because if this movie can turn a good profit then we will get more movies

I have been saying, I wanted the director of the Jurassic World Series to direct an alien movie and that was bc of Colin trevorrows use of practical effects. Thank god fede Alvarez is taking a page from the Jurassic World Series that made those movies somewhat suspenseful and using practical effects to make the movie even more frightening

I would have been fine with just the teaser but yet again half the movie and deaths were shown in this trailer like there's gonna be more obviously but I just wish directors would stop ruining there movies especially horror one when showing how people die or certain jumpscares yes I know it's to generate hype to go see the movie but your gonna know what happens in certain parts of the movie due to the trailer so the suspense and scarey aspect is just gone...
I'll still go see the movie but if Fede puts out anymore trailers I won't watch them at all these two half alresdy ruined my hype abit for the movie well the second trailer did.
