I've been listening to ALL the Sisters' material since '06 and I'm just so tired of all these anti-post 1985 SoM fans who always generically say, " I only like F&L&A and the early '80s e.p era e.p stuff " . I believe the Sisters' as a near purely live act/ playing mostly ex-Soviet states with loads of unofficial live tracks since the mid-90s and onwards is punk rock as F. If the choice to not record 'officially' is there thing, then I'm taking it on grounds of solely artistic, aesthetic preference. Seeing music live is better anyways.

When I think of that early '80s period, specifically concerning 'Sisters (w/ in the context of all these converging proto-industrial/batcave/ eventual neo folk 'proto-esque' genres) - I can't help to not pair that SoM era with also the March Violets. So, for those who are only taken away by the material that made it to 'Some Girls Wander By Mistake', you can't listen to that without acknowledging the March Violets either.
@@noose1911 yeah can hear alsorts now the years have gone by.... Caught them on the 82 clash tour (although I was aware of them before this) and it seemed they had sonething no one else had... Its only later when you rehear other bands that you notice the similar beats, riffs etc... Like what I've heard of the new stuff.... I mean it's only 31 years since the last album 😂😂
Listening since '84 & I agree :) The Sisters' have never put a foot wrong, part of the reason I still love them 💜 But live music, wonderful & life-enhancing, sometimes a downside; travel far no late train home, being in crowds, stuck behind taller 1s/blokes of no deodorant, 21stC view obscured by 'phones - Also wonderful & life enhancing /saving to hear the music alone at home with computer; to me both equally valid & desirable 💜 Maybe the 2nd option more so now I'm 'old'! :)
If you see how many new numbers they made since their last record, they could have easily made several new records again... instead of all letting go into the void of the past solely existing of bad quality live versions, that have to be picked up by professional remixers to make it sound somewhat acceptable so that early leftover fans such as myself can have a glimpse of what it could've been. Thank you, Project Kiss Kass, for that.
It is not only the Sound the Message is intressting! Yes the Sound is in the Background but how we can justice the Background they feel another Feel we feel in the Sound !The must not swimming with rest they are there nothing at all!

I 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 that their music's online; some can't appreciate the drag it was pre-www; having to hunt down songs in snobby blokey shops /record fairs [if you were lucky to hear the tracks in 1st place!] or taping a copy off a mate, re-spooling cassettes with a pen after they randomly self-destruct, keeping your vinyl 𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑦 pristine in plastic sleeves; it still clicks & hisses, Ugh! Lugging it all around when you move house: I dreamt of having all my beloved music in a tiny magic box, & behold! - We have it ALL at out finger-tips, 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚! ~ Enjoy! We are BLESSED. Catch the Sisters live if you can; they're even better now than when I 1st saw them in '85 😉 x
Listening to this at 02:31am, whilst doing some art work to post back home, and im possessed by the thought that this song would've been a good tribute video for the 1985 manga anime movie Vampire hunter D, 😊❤🎉
Great song but I wonder why the recording quality is so poor. Everyone with a laptop, audio-interface, some decent mics, a Kemper amp and a drummachine could do better than this, even if it's just a rehearsal. At least I've done it ;-))
