I think the sound depended where you were in the ground, we were at the back opposite the stage and we could hear and see everything, though I agree the facilities were awful at the stadium, the traffic and crowd control were good. The concert was amazing, we had travelled from Cheshire, parked at winners chapel and walked up. Fabulous night.
I've wanted to see The Boss, live for many years, and even better that it would be at my second home, Villa Park. This should rate as the best concert I've ever been too, but the sound quality let it down. Not Bruce's or Villa's fault I think, I put it down to whoever was mixing the sound. It was loud, but too bassy at times, sometimes Bruce's vocal volume would be too low or the volume of the music would be too low. I was in the Trinity towards the Holte and there were speakers on the pitch and in the roof of the stand, so not sure why the sound quality was so poor. A friend had been to the Pink concert a few days before and said the quality of the sound was excellent

Was one of the best concerts I have been to.(I have been to loads) Where I sat the sound was good. The crowd was great sang along to most songs.

To be honest I won't be going to Villa Park for another concert.
Sound was better than this recording. But acoustic were poor and facilities were poor
