    You should have used a light copper or orange shade to prepigment the white hair and I would have overall gone with the shades eq glosses from redken or henna. Both would have been much more gentler to the hair. :)

    You have to go darker like dark blonde, leave it in longer, dont heat wrap it, and it will fade out into just about perfect. Sometimes you have to dye your hair red and then brown. Chestnut red is a good place to start from blonde. Also makes your skin look awesome. Revlon no amonia.

You are one of those 1%ers that would still be perfect even if you shaved your head lol so, you can wear it better than I.
    I actually know better. Stylists are trained to mix the products to achieve the desired look you want based on what you already have going on, if you dye your own hair darker, the solution will most likely be too strong and extremely difficult to fix, if you want a blonde shade, notice how a good stylist will be constantly checking to see how it’s turning out and make sure it doesn’t break off when you leave the salon.

    When you dye platinum hair back to any shade deeper than blonde you need to use fillers because your hair is stripped of all pigments. You can use a mixture of a medium red shade and a medium brown and it will balance out the color. And stay away from ash shades because you will pick up only the base in them.

    • @paolar.6408
      @paolar.6408 Před 2 lety +3

      Blonde box hair dye usually contains 40% developer (red and blonde shades like 7 and 8 contain 30% developer). They will lighten your natural hair a little and add some pigment. So rest hair can still be even white but roots will turn copper or orange. If you will use lightning hair dye (some of them contain bleach powder but are less dangerous than bleach). You achive 5-8 levels of lightening. Like Garnier hair dye. Some only lift natural/dyed hair, some only add some pigment and some do both things. For example Garnier e0. Girl in video would add pigment into her hair and dye them with semi-pernament dye on level 4. Then she would use Garnier e0 and will achive blonde on level 7/8. I had hair dyed by 6 (looked like 5) and roots on 4. I used it and got 8/9 on all hair.

    @Seb_latimer Před 2 lety +1

    When you're that light you've removed all the tones from your hair, it's basically an empty tube, you have to repigmentate the missing Under tones, it's also so porus at level 10 (bleached) your dyed colour will just slip out and wash away within a few washes, leaving it looking muddy and dull. A level 8 the colour you wanted has yellow/orange undertone, at you're level you have removed all tone.

    • @bunnym196
      @bunnym196 Před 2 lety

      Great info. If you're a bleached level 9 (yellow, not white) and want to go to a level 8 Medium Blonde, do you still need to refill pigment beforehand? You're only going down 1 level but Medium Blonde is a natural/neutral tone so I didn't know if might end up with a muddy or dull result?

    • @Seb_latimer
      @Seb_latimer Před 2 lety +2

      @@bunnym196 from a level 9 to just drop one level you can do that with a demi permanent glaze (Toner) use a shade such as 8n if you want a neutral shade of blonde if you're very yellow you can use a more ashy tone such as 8na .
      There's no need to use a permeant dye to do what you want, plus a permeant dye has around a 30 developer which you don't need, it's just more damage.
      Use a redkens shade eq glaze (Toner)
      Look up .....
      Redken eq Shades - 08n / Neutral
      Or
      Redken eq Shades - 08na / Neutral Ash
      Use with a 10 Developer, you don't need to lift your hair you're just depositing colour, you'll get a better colour and it won't damage your hair. If you've bleached to a level 9 you still have yellow tones so you don't need to repigmentate to drop just one level.
      Use redken eq Shades developer with the toner mix equal parts toner and developer, apply on towel dried hair for up to 20 mins.
      You'll need to do it around every 8 weeks.

    Hello. The reason your roots turned orange is because the color is a dark blonde, not “brunette“ so it’s bleach in it. Next time you should avoid the roots, also it was a neutral. If you don't want to end up with green tones in your hair you have to put in red tones first, because the blonde has no pigment left. Then, you can use a 7.1 with colder tones. If you want to go brunette, you have to pick a 6 or lower.

    You used a neutral colour and secondly, because your hair was bleached, it had no pigment in it so this colour acted as a filler. Neutral shades reintroduce pigments to bleached, grey and white hair. What you should have done was simply do a second application on the bleached areas and that would have been the actual colour. Simple fix.

    It’s all Greyish and green girl yikes!! You need a darker color actually. You need a 7N don’t try ash on your previously lightened and EXTRA porous hair until you have filled it with a protein filler 🤦🏼‍♀️

    Your hair is wayyy to damaged and too poor condition to absorb hair dye 😂😂😂what did you expect 😂?? That's why roots are only healthy and the rest of the hair krep😂! Only absorbed base tone colour and not full hair dye!
