One of my favourite songs of all time, I just really wished it was stripped back and slowed down a bit. It's been absolutely murdered on singing shows by just really slowing it down and letting the emotion come through, which McKenna could have done perfectly

I know why she chose this song. It resonates with a lot of adoptees. Her voice is so rich and powerful and unique.

Really couldn't hear her until she got to the chorus. The band is really loud too.
It's actually because she's a little weak with the low notes which this song starts with. She's even stated this. Once she got by the beginning it was a very good rendition and performance.

I think she sings best when she's accompanying herself at the piano! I remember her stellar Hollywood Audition, singing Adele while playing the keyboard, plus Circle Game with piano----definitely more immersed and in her deeper element+

Always loved her vocals but this was her worst performance so far. Good song but didnt fit her vibe well. Might have helped a bit if she was up from the piano and worked the crowd a bit.

I love Mckenna voice. She's a natural born singer. And then they had to save her. This is really messed up. I like Tristan but he need time to grown up. And Katie was kicked off. I done with American idol.
Dude mckenna is awesome won’t be mad if she wins but I literally can’t even focus on the contestants because I can’t stop looking at Shania…??? Like my eyes keep looking around because I’m waiting to see her because this blonde chick doesn’t look anything like her. WTH??? What did she do to her face? Geez
Good performance, but...she would be better without the piano because her presence is already kinda short for this song. The first change of tone was not good. I think this song didn't made her shine and she can do better than this, this was like the girl that sings in a bar where everyone keeps talking over and doesn't get their attention.
This being said, i love her voice and i think he can do much better with other songs.
