@@thevocal7572 software development and ai are two opposite fields. Ai is the new and more developing field which will have more jobs than sde in next 10 years.
Sde is a traditional job which most people do after getting iit.

if you want a job in AI you have to pursue masters and for that you have to focus on research in college not the placements

Branch change is stopped in iit hyderabad from 2021.
And it is stopped in iit bombay from 2023, due to Darshan Solanki Case
It will soon be eradicated from all iits and nits in upcoming 20 years for sure.
Branch change is like changing wives after marriage because maza nahi aaya. Bruh why do arrange marriage in the first place.

@@banana2736 9+ cgpa generally. It is tougher because all grades are relative.
For a person like sankho it was easy to get 9 cgpa even, coz their branch has like 12-13 students. But in other branches there are 60-65 students and peak competition so it gets tough there to get a good cgpa.
And in the end it probably won't matter that much. Yes it will add one line in your resume but isn't that big of a game changing factor

Marriage is obviously different from selecting a branch, courses in any branch are complicated, 1.5 months are not enough to get an idea of optimum branch selection at maximum. You can take your time before choosing for getting married , in branch selection time is limited.

How good is MnC branch at IITs? Kindly elaborate. Is it towards AIML or coding?
Varies across IITs - it's mostly Math in IITK, while CS courses take a decent enough chunk in KGP and Guwahati. Placement oppurtunities are great, second only to CS. AI/ML courses are generally not taught as compulsory courses to students, however I am sure you could pick electives geared towards that.
@@shreyaskumar7658 How good is MnC at IIT BHU. There was a news in December 2022 that this branch got highest maximum 1.2 Cr (domestic) and average 38.7 lpa at IIT BHU better than CSE also. Kindly give your opinion. Is maths too harsh in this course?

IIIT Allahabad aur IIT Dhanbad ka cse more or less same hi hai placement wise.....if you want iit tag and life go for IIT Dhanbad CSE....
bro IIT Dhanbad CSE is good. you can although look for other IITs with better campus. Also IIT tag always helps.
