How are you opening more than one page? I know these are basically android tablets, but I have found no options to open additional pages like a tablet.

Hi Jensen, I love these themes from you but I can't get the map widgets working on them. The Car Launcher is connected to Google maps, shows the Google logo but no map. Is there somewhere where I can enter my own Maps API?
The maps are working on any other launcher but not this one. Do you have any idea why could that be?

@jansen_vlog Is the issue with the message "Due to the new Google policy, it is no longer possible to save theme settings in the old way. If you have saved theme settings, save them again" solved? By the way, great videos 👌no

Hi Jansen, I wonder if you can help me. I'm trying to use your themes, which are great, and have followed your instructions. The backgrounds don't load, as per your video, but when I click on the widget to load them it keeps asking for Gallery App. I've downloaded a number of them, but it still doesn't allow mw to choose a picture. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I did everything you said but until i try to do the RECOVER at the save button, there is a message from Google policy and wont allow me to recover. May i know what is the reason? Thank you
Hey man, thanks for the themes, Looks amazing specifically the second one. Works perfect and design is wonderful. I have a question though - how to change the default audio player for music to start with the launcher??
You can activate the application you want to choose from the sleep mode option in the car special settings to choose the music launcher at the first boot, I did it like this. Note: passwords are required for special settings, mine is 8888 maybe universal

It is not possible to recover from the downloaded "CL Custom Theme" at "Car_Launcher_backup" Instead we have to do a "New Save" or download it from "Dropbox", can you edit your video or teach me how to go about it?

This looks great, definitely going to have to give it shot. Quick question I've had, to have maps, spotify and other apps work do you connect your radio to your phone hotspot? Or is there a another way? Been using android auto but would be cool to find out

The images that come in Gdrive are not loading when I install the CL theme, are they in the same downloads folder?

When I clicker recover again , nothing is happen !! Help me please
I can't restore using the method described in the video because I get a message saying "Due to the new Google policy, it is no longer possible to save theme settings in the old way. If you have saved theme settings, save them again. Restore old settings is still available..." and then forces me to recover through Dropbox. I tried saving an existing theme to Dropbox to see where it put it on Dropbox...However, I noticed the new theme file extension is *.horizontal and not *.db. Is there any way to work around this?

Got it on but can't get background image to be the right size ?? Oh I can only find a recover on the 3rd theme for some reason that's probably why it isn't right size

You have to download the six files properly not their image.
Do not long press on them and download image. INSTEAD, JUST TAP ONCE CLICK ON THE DOWNLOAD ARROW OM THE TOP.

It no longer lets you recover. Only says recover from dropbox? So do I need to set up all this in my dropbox in the same manner?

Hi. For now, only Google Maps and Yandex Maps are supported.

Oh, to be honest I like the two launchers and I actually use them both. and it's very easy to jump between the two launchers.

OK, i tried make a same folder using external USB drive and transfer the folder into my headunit..it worked but the themes don't look like as yours.. Not even close.. Lol.. Any ideas?

I know this is an older posting but hoping you might be able to provide some guidance. I was excited to see all of the work you'd done to put together these themes and wanted to install the "Windows" theme on the Android unit I just installed in my older BMW. Nicely done with lots of detailed explanations. Unfortunately, the "recover" routine seems to have changed on Car Launcher. It kept directing me to files rather than a folder like your video shows, so I wasn't able to "recover" anything. I ended up using Theme 1 and just setting up 2 frames - one for music and one for navigation. It looks OK but I'd still love to try yours if there's still a way to make use of it on the newer Car Launcher.

Having issues installing the theme. Tried what was instructed and tries to create the folders several times even following the font (caps and small letters) but still unable to get similar result per your video. I can send you some pics to show what I did and what i'm getting. Hope you can help me. The small window after pressing the first RECOVER is different from what is showing on your video.

Hi. What’s the error message you are getting? When you tap on Recover, it should say “To share settings files between your devices, use the Dropbox cloud storage.” Then you should have an option to choose between “Restore from Dropbox” or “Recover”. You should select “Recover”, and the file “CL Custom Theme” should pop up on your screen.
@@jansen_vlog CL Custom does no pop-up. The difference with what I'm getting vs what's on your videos is, after selecting Recover it says the message below
