Not a Fake YouTube Barn Find! The best of the Best 1967 Porsche 911S

- This is a REAL barn find.. This car didn't see the light of day since 1982 and it has quite the beautiful story. Complete factory original car, one owner. He put 90k miles on this classic Porsche between 1967 and 1982, until it had a very minor incident and he put it in the garage. There it sat for 38 years.
Unfortunately, the original owner has since passed away, and his Grandson found the car in the garage.. which he knew nothing about. After he found out that this was the very best first year 911S, be brought it to us and had us restore it to glory to honor his grandfather.
Even though he's had many offers upwards of $300k, he's not selling.
These are the stories we love to be a part of!
What do you think about this true barn find?

Does anyone else think that watching his videos is so relaxing.
Very glad to hear that :)
No ,like watching paint dry !
If the music was removed, then I would definitely consider this Automotive ASMR.
@@RedLP5000S what is AMSR?
@@RedLP5000S pardon me AsMr ?
I have a 1972-911T , I bought when I was 19- I’m now 61 yrs young ! Factory sun roof - old Recaro seats and Fuchs - all stock !! I’ve owned my car for 42 years ….she’s as sweet as the day I found her ! You do absolutely beautiful work ! What an incredible find ! Love this meticulous detail you’ve shown !
Thank you! 🙌🏽
When it's done from the heart and real passion, these are the results you get. Unbelievable. I would even drive 3000 miles from the East Coast all the way to California only to have the detailing done by you guys.
We’d be happy have to yah!
Beautiful! I forgot how skinny those stock tires were! Look like Perrelli CN 36’s. What a car to restore and get on the road again. Great to see it get your treatment!
Glad he is keeping a piece of history with it being his Grand's car and being a 911.
Me too!
What an automotive icon that you were working on!, the 911S is one of the most important 911 models in history, and respected amongst Porsche enthusiasts.
Wow. What a peach. Amazing finish, as usual 👍👌😎 I love the gold badging on the white.
O.M.G. It's so beautiful. What an amazing color, and a wonderful combination between this white paint and the gold 'PORSCHE' badge letters. That paint looks brand new, Germans do great work.
This is my absolute dream job.
Stunning. Such a transformation!
So nice to see a car that didn't get Singered! Beautiful!
Now why didn’t I have a Grandpa with something like that in his barn?
Same! 🙈
nice work and nice vintage porsche! makes me miss our dad's original 1967 porsche 912. it was tough to say goodbye, but happy knowing another enthusiast gets to enjoy for years to come. :)
I had one of these. 1967 911S. Came from Florida. Sold it in 2000 for $3000. Divorce. It was red. Used to love the fire extinguisher that came as standard equipment.
🥲
Perfect video for my Sunday. Awesome work. It is all in the details. Keep the videos coming
I can tell from the first opening video frames... This is going to turn out NICELY!
Awesome 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😎
Wish I cleaned up that nicely!

Get Fred Flintstone in the back, and off you go 😀
Yabba dabba dooo
High level as always ☘😎
Someone took the motor when grandpa wasn't looking...
🤣
My age , but this car looks by far better than me !!!!
🤣😅
Amazing transformation. I wonder what you prefer cleaning, a really dirty, true barn find, or a beautiful kept classic that just needs your special kind of expertise to correct minor paint swirls etc? Either way, you are simply the best! Keep up the great work and I can’t wait for each new video.👍🇨🇦
Classics because I love to see before/after!
I love that challenge and the difference you see when you finish.
Wow 😳
Great job, stunning car👍🏼
Thanks!
🙆♂️👌beautiful
You did one hell of a job on this car. Are you going to have an updated video once the engine and everything else is put back together? I would really love to see this car complete.
Thank you David! I haven't ever thought of doing a video like that before, great idea. I'll have to see what I can do ;)
Wish I could get mine that clean 😪
I swear y'all just threw some dust on the car to call it a "barn find," lol great video as always!
I agree...ANOTHER BS "barn find" video.
Waaaahhhhh!!!! I want one!!!! Life is unfair!!!😂
I want one too 🥲
Wow amazing clean up dude 👏
Appreciate it!
Barn finds ... of course ...
See, even when you literally find it in grandpa’s garage.. no one believes you 🙈
Loooooonger videos please….I could watch this all day! Great work again too….
I like to keep you wanting more ;)
Nice work, beautiful car except for that gap over the rear tires from not having an engine but you guys got her ready for a new motor and a life.
I want it 😍
Wow! What a wonderful save. Was that original paint? If so, even bigger "Bravo"!
It was!
mechanically wise , working !!!
That old gal cleaned up nicely! Not scratch anywhere
Wow
The man-bun and shower shoes were fundamental to getting this job done.
😒
Now time to find a proper drivetrain.👌🏻
The engine was removed before it goes to us because the engine wasn’t started 38years so mechanic has to go over it. Now it’s complete and runs beautifully 😉
@@IAMDetailing great✌🏻
😍
That's how my car looks after a month.
🥲
Dang!!!
I knowwww
Amazing detailing job! That 911 needs to get lowered ASAP though, it's looking like a 4x4.
Sitting high because it is missing the motor/transmssion
More into Ammo NYC where he goes into the details of the cleaning process. But good clip if your hurry.
We're building a new series of videos where we go more in depth to the process. We also have a handful of longer videos coming out on the channel. One step at a time ;)
Amazing job as always. Was this a project of your own or this car belongs to a customer? Tremendous tidy up, however I cannot "tolerate" the fact that there are some scratches in the car which are quite obvious because of the white color (especially the driver's side, there is even a small hole in the door-probably from a small gun? ). It would be quite astonishing if this car ended up properly done mechanically, so as it starts driving again on the road. Great build quality from Porsche too.
This car belongs to a customer! And the entire drivetrain was giving a nice refresh from our friends at California Porsches down the alley from us. It came out stellar!
Mantulll
I couldn’t see the engine, is it really back there or not!
It is now! It was down the road at our friends at california porsches being rebuilt
Thx for response, nice content
The Motor has been taken out is it being Repaired ?
It was down the alley at our friends shop, California Porsches, getting a full overhaul. Its back in and running like a champ!
Is it just me or there have been too many recent barn finds/ 1st wash in x decades videos. Can you please share where you got the barn finder from. I left my lawn mower in a barn and can't remember where.
The whole story is posted in the description lol
And on this website: www.autoevolution.com/news/barn-found-1967-porsche-911s-gets-first-wash-in-40-years-looks-brand-new-173674.html
I wish I was as skinny as those tires.
😅
👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍
Please open a shop in new England. My original lacquer paint 70 vette needs your expertise
When paint had lead in it and would buff back
Was it shot with a .22? also passenger side headlight.... ouch
Rumor has it that it was Al Capone’s Porsche…
How did you get that chromework so bright
A little elbow grease ;)
My chrome on my Rolls-Royce was exactly the same as that 911 but I made a right mess, I couldn’t get It even all the way round and in some areas burnt to brass. I gave up and got it re-chromed.
Daaaaaang
I'm always left sort of bitter Sweet by these, sure it cleans up nice but the ...patina of dirt and dust...I dunno...
Amazing!!!!. Where would you find a 911 S engine and how much $$$???. Good luck. I'm jealous.
Luckily the motor was just down the alley with our friends at California Porsches
@@IAMDetailing that's good news. Have fun putting that wonderful jem back together.
Bollox, spent a month away from home on a job and my car had more dirt.
You gotta get you one of those california barns
Nice work you need longer videos to get more subscribers.
We just posted a video yesterday that was longer than eight minutes…

Next week: "Barn find Ferrari 250 GTO and its rival GT40"
😒
this is a business as opposed to a barn find
Who knows how 50 years old rubber / leather trim looks like ?🤣🤪
Barn find happen every day , when you need to raise the price by 30-40%
Well he decided to keep this one, it just makes for a better story, especially when it’s a real barnfind like this one ;)
Would love to see them convert this to an EV..
😬
Guter deutscher Lack
The best!
There is no subsitude.
Like watching a live birth, totally beautiful.....
🥵😂
Not sure if someone asked this yet, but where's the engine?
Next door with my neighbor CALIFORNIA PORSCHES 😉 the engine wasn’t run almost 4 decades so before first start need some love… Now is running beautifully and already with in owner’s hands.
Get some decent background music ! Bloody hell !!!
We’re running out of tracks on artlist, so you’re more than welcome to buy a subscription for us to another stock audio site ;)

barn find?? & my ass shits gold!!
SUCH BS
Did we forget how to read?
Not a single panel damaged on a 55 year old Porsche, sorry don't believe a word of it...!!!
Side mirror is gone
It returned home safely
300k only with its original drivetrain. It's not only missing its engine, it's also missing its transmission. Beautiful specimen otherwise.
Yes it is completely original like it came from factory 😉
Somebody stole the engine..
They got no engines, Ted
No engine...?
It was down the alley that our friends at California Porsches Getting a full refresh
@@IAMDetailing Great! Then this rare 911 did become a perfect rarity. Dreamcar :)
Why even detail it. The car obviously has no motor, it's not driving anywhere. Oh and nice job replacing the window rubber.
Of course the car has engine and trans… but because was siting over 38years it need change some gasket/seal and just checked everything before it will hit the road… so my neighbor California Porsches worked on that when I worked on detailing part.
Not sure what window rubber you meant but we did not change anything. Everything was only, cleaned, polished and protected but the goal was to keep everything original from factory but make it look best as possible.
Salty sosig.
I'd detail that with no engine if I had a big enough hall way stick that in instead of a grand piano.
Stunning shape, amazing detail. Love it
Where's the engine?
It was down the alley at our friends at California Porsches getting a full refresh. It’s all back together and driving beautifully
Not real
Definitely real 🙃
Ummmmm, Bro, I hate to tell you this but there's no engine! Another BS "barn find video....well done!
😂 did you actually read the description? What about the comments? Had a whole article written about this car. The engine was pulled and being rebuilt at California Porsches next to our shop because.. it was.. a …. Barn find.. and hadn’t been started in decades
