When I was the bandmaster of the Powis Army Cadet Force we played thereand took part in the liberation parade some years ago. 'S-Hertogenbosch was liberated from the Nazis by the Welsh division that is the connection. We got a fantastic reception. Until you take part in these celebrations one does not reallize the importance of freedom and unity to the people of mainland Europe. I learnt it back in 74 as a member of the Welsh Guards Band in Brussels.... It is quite overwhelming. Well done guys.
