I told my friends this back in like '12 or '13. My friends didn't believe it, because metalcore wikipedia wasn't super reliable, so they tweeted at Ryan and asked him. He confirmed it lol
I initially thought the same thing but it really is Ryan on Apologies. Go back and watch the OG music video, it's him singing. Homie just had a head full of hair at the time. Original album released in 09, he rejoined the band in 07. 🫶
@@Mat42251 It was definitely not Ryan on Apologies. Ryan Neff told my friend on Twitter that he did not do vocals on Apologies. I wish I had screenshots, but why would he lie about that? Josh Gillespie did the bass and vocals on Apologies.
@@alecdawg11 if that's Josh singing and not Ryan on the Original then it's insane how similar the two sound. Ryan was definitely in the band at the time the album released though and was definitely still doing cleans so if he wasn't doing them fully it's still possible he may have provided a backing vocal because the clean vocals are just way to similar for him not to have sang in some capacity.

I think this whole new rerecord is going to be amazing especially having all the features, however I immediately prefer the original. Two different takes on the same thing and we get to enjoy both! Im very excited for the rest!

Bro what the actual fuck did they do to the mixing on this?! The original version unironically sounds higher quality, and this isnt a dig at MMI/FFAK. You guys actually fucking made me cry with how bad this is. I have VERY fond memories of this album. MY cat literally doesnt care about rhe sounds of metal. He literally ran away with HOW terribly this is mixed.

09's version still the best sounding to me, but the guest vocals is worth listen to
Re-mastered just means that now the band rather than the record label owns the rights to the songs. Each song is a new recording featuring another band so the band profits 100% of the revenue, rather than the percentage earning of their previous record contract.
And they aren’t concentrating on making new music because half the band now plays for as i lay dying, who is currently making a new album with those new members.
