As an ikea employee in Texas, I know our store always put out the as is stuff on Fridays, so Friday morning is the best time to get the good deals. However, at my store, if you wanted something for a good price then you could ask an employee if you could buy a display item at a discounted price.

I work, at a uk branch and we have customers that come in everyday! Usually first thing as trough the day they process the things and get put put. It’s interesting to see what other stores around the world have that we don’t.
Kay Ineson honestly! I know that our store has changed the way we do things a lot throughout the past few months, and I know that a lot of stores around us have different policies which I find kind of funny.
Sarah S yeah it’s so strange. Some days we don’t have a lot other days it’s like a treasure chest. Especially during set changes and seasons. I can’t keep up with all the policies that keep changing

I can’t remember if you’ve done this before but you should totally do a **SAME SUPPLIES CHALLENGE** Kind of like how you’ve both made two different things in this video. E.g. both get some plywood, string, glue, paint and paintbrushes (idk just an example) and see how you both make unique things out of the same supplies!

That room divider looks so good! If you're going to do it, try using a floral fabric or a cherry blossom design to get a Japanese vibe to it.
이Armie I actually think the white fabric makes it look somewhat similar to these japanese "paper walls" that are used inside homes as non-supporting walls. :) although those squares are bigger and straight, not at an angle like these ;)
Thats more chinese than japanese actually. Japanese dividers are usually plain rice paper

IKEA employee here: as is recieve all their stuff after we've closed, so theoretically early morning is when we have the best stuff. if there's a big seasonal change youre more likely to see lots of cool stuff there e.g. changing seasons or other temporary store activities. in terms of when to get the cheapest stuff, there isn't really a hack for that. the longer something is there the lower the price goes, so that's a system u can't really work around :/
also as an ikea employee, we typically replace display pieces/create new displays after the weekends! so check in monday morning for neat stuff!!

LADIES! I've worked in the as-is section at IKEA Etobicoke for the last two years. The best time to go is right when the store opens because we put everything that we have on the floor the previous evening. Saturday is the best day!
You could totally use the peg board as a bed frame replacement! I also love the screen without the fabric too!

I like both of those for my home; I feel like the peg idea is good for an entryway, while the room divider is multi-use for any room in your home that is used for multiple purposes. Great job, ladies!
If only y’all knew how many dorm decor/ dorm tour videos I’ve watched the past 2 weeks... last year I had a double shared space, this year I’m in a suite style with my own bedroom! So much more to decorate!! 💗

I love those DIYs, I've used a small version of one of these trellises to hang on the wall and hang neckaces on for years!!
Both came out AMAZING!! I want to re-create both of those! I was thinking that Becky's hack would be great to hand sideways on a wall in a playroom and display toys and kid art or dress up stuff.
I work in a job that moves me every few months! So I am using this trellis as a headboard because it's super easy to pack up and move, but makes my new place feel put together!! I love the idea of attaching a lamp to it for reading!!

You could honestly combine both Becky’s and Kelsey’s diys by adding pegs to the back of the room divider :) get the best of both worlds!
