I found this video while searching for “Twist and Shout” while watching an interview of Melle Mel (Grandmaster Flash) mentioning that the song “White Lines” features a sample of the ascending “aaah!” harmonies from the Isley Brothers’ version of “Twist and Shout” during the “Getting higher baby.” part of “White Lines”.

Your backup singers need to pitch their voices up and shout the lyrics and not just sing them in a low baritone.. because by doing that it sounds like they're not only mocking the song.., it also sounds like someone singing the song if they were really drunk. Forgive me for sounding blunt but your backup singers need improvement, you on the other hand (guy on lead vocals) were great plus your energy as well as your pitch is and was spot-on just raspen your voice a little so it sounds more edgier.

Backing singers are a bit bland ,need a slightly different tone . But the guitar and drum playing was almost spot on ,
They're singing the background parts an octave lower and it's on
purpose.
