When I saw you drilling them I thought "Oh no, I would've made collars" but then I saw the copper rivets and I thought " Now that is just perfect!". :)
I assumed the welding machine was going to come out - very pleased with the rivets!
@@rosstapson I was going to say this too!
Just when I thought you were going to weld the pieces together, no you decide to rivet the with copper wire. You always keep me guessing. Beautiful piece!!!
Perfect video. No talking. Totally relaxing. Feels good doing a job well.
Thank you!!
I loved the copper rivets and the re-use of the copper wire. Very nice work!
Beautiful craftsmanship and well filmed/edited, thanks! Whoever disliked this is a fool
I am a small time blacksmith and love watching Torbjorn…..the guy is just great !!!
I've never done any blacksmithing, but I find your videos fascinating and very satisfying to watch. :)
That's cool. Thanks!
It's kind of therapeutic. You wouldn't think someone hammering on steel with great force would be anything but relaxing, but somehow it is.
Torbjörn Åhman du är bra på det här
Torbjörn Åhman Is it hard to make a living as a blacksmith and knifemaker these days? I am not really sure. My neighbour was a horseshoer and could hardly make a living.
I'm not sure wither. If you do quality work and can handle allot of hard work I think it's possible without a doubt.
Beautiful work as usual. Glad to see you back at the forge. The copper rivets make for a very artistic touch. Your attention to the small details is amazing.
Thanks!
oh my friend you are so clever!!!!!! I never wrote you but saw all your videos presented..... well another great handcraft.......and waitting the next.....Juan from Uruguay. good luck.
Oh, thank you very much.

Thank you, Mr. Åhman, for sharing your work with us! It's really mesmerizing to watch you turn just a simple piece of metal in something that beautiful!
Thanks!
Beautiful result, very clean lines and each piece so symetrical. Wow!!
My students will be creating this trivet-thanks to your video every step is beautifully illustrated for them. Thank you for taking the time and effort to create your blacksmithing videos.
Great, thanks!
The time-lapse of peening those pins was amazing, like magic. Your hammer just floated above and they slowly melted into shape. Great job!
He he, yep. The force is strong with that hammer. Thanks
Congratulations! I was amazed watching how to convert plain iron into art.

Aveleira sexwomen
Ten minutes in and I'm gland to see the ancient technique of the hovering hammer still exists use it wisely.. grateful you shared thank you ✌
The power of the force... :) Thanks!
Hi Torbjörn I am looking to purchase a power hammer and was wondering if I can get some advice from you, there is one for sale close to me it is a 20kg hammer. Would a 20 kg be sufficient for forging axes , hammers etc or would it not be strong enough? ?
It sounds a little small for that, but different hammers delivers different blows so you shouldn't rule it out completely without testing.
The thing that I cannot do, I find I can do through you. As always a pleasure watching you bend steel to your whim. The scrolls are delicate and the finish is awesome. Thanks for posting
Great! Thanks
Wonderful and elegant work, as always!
Amazing work - it speaks for itself!

That was very smart with the copper rivets. I wouldn't have thought that, I figured you'd weld it or wrap a collar around them but the way you did it seems like the best method. Great work!

All your videos are awesome! So awesome my friend and are in the process of building a open pit forge. Thanks for showing us how beautiful blacksmith ing can be.
Great! Thanks
Mr. Åhman , good news- my friend and i finished the forge! Yay! We tried logs as burning fuel and it did heat metal to bright orange but wood just doesn't last long. Can you give me some tips on what to buy- coal or coke? Bituminous or anthracite coal- i not sure i understand which is best.please Help! Thanks for the videos and Merry Christmas!
I think you should test them out individually, actually. Go for the cheapest one first :) I haven't used anthracite coal myself, only bituminous and coke.
Beautiful work brother. You inspire me to get more creative.
Cool. Thanks!
The way you do it is some kind of meditation-thing with fire, steel and tools... the outcome is always a go, but not that important... it is the process of blacksmithing-meditation... I cannot describe it in any other way... great video - thumbs up.
Thank you!
Truely beautiful. Great job.
