R.Riveter | The Mission

Six years ago, R.Riveter began as two military spouses in a small attic with a big idea, a little bit of canvas, and one sewing machine. The company is making noise across the country with their unique mission - to provide mobile, flexible income and stability for independent military spouses who move every few years with their military members.
Every handbag or accessory that R.Riveter makes is truly one-of-a-kind. Their manufacturing process empowers women across the country to participate in the creation of beautiful handbags, wherever they are relocated . These pieces are then sent back to the company's FabShop outside of Fort Bragg in North Carolina to be assembled and sent out to customers.
Many hands work to make a single R.Riveter product. Each part and piece of R.Riveter's handbags and accessories are stamped with the RR number of its maker. You can visit R.Riveter's website to match each number and "meet" the women behind your American Handmade bag.

Wow! What an amazing company, story and especially brand value.
I was thinking about the logistics of having different pieces made by women all over the country, but when you realise it's not about the product, but about the women, the logistics don't actually matter.
