  • Let me share with you a secret on how you can create a digital yearly planner with 400 pages or MORE. Nobody shares this information. Most people just show you how to create a digital planner on Canva. And even though you can successfully create a digital planner on Canva, this planner will only be able to have 250 pages or less depending on your design.
    And the best part is that you can create this digital planner without InDesign or any other paid program for that matter!
    In this video I want to share a method how you can still create your design templates on Canva but add hyperlinks in a different free program. This way it's still going to be super easy to use but you'll also be able to create an incredible amount of pages (e.g. 1000 or MORE).
    Forget the joining two pdfs method. It doesn't work when you have a hyperlinked document. Enjoy a free and easy way to create your very own digital planner!
    You can download LibreOffice here: www.libreoffice.org/download/...

    What programs will users need for typing in the planner if they're using the planner on their tablets or computers?

    Hello! Thanks SO much for these videos. I used them to design a planner on canva with weekly and daily templates, and now it’s time to hyperlink. I’m wondering, Will it it mess up the hyperlinks if I initially only have one weekly and daily page per month and just replicate them as needed in good notes?

    Thank you for the tutorial!Is there a limit to how many pages we can create inside Libreoffice ?My experience is with Powerpoint and my biggest struggle is when I try to export the final document as a Pdf ,if there are too many hyperlinked pages then they don't usually work well and the elements are misplaced all over the place.

    • @RealisticPlanner

      Hi, first of all I expected more from powerpoint :( honestly, im testing out affinity publisher right now which is just a lifetime payment compared to indesign. I feel like no matter what these other programs are just not made to manage links like that. I haven’t personally had any problems with libre office. However, what you could do is import your pdf that you have created in powerpoint, add a couple of links in libre office & then see how it works. It should be fine but i havent tested it with a huge document yet

    So, for each month (Jan, Feb, March, etc) I have two different weekly planner layouts in my planner and I copied them 5 times for each week (ie: January has 10 weekly planner sheets, 5 each for each weekly layout). How do I add a clickable hyperlink from the index page to get me to each of the weekly planner sheets, if I can only link one slide to the hyperlink? Your help is appreciated, please I'm pulling my hair out.

    • @RealisticPlanner
      @RealisticPlanner  Před rokem +1

      Honestly, I’d probably just create two different planners so the person can choose at the very beginning which layout they want. This way the planner will be smaller in size which means that it will probably load a lot smoother:) also, when you are selling the planners instead of saying that you are providing two different layouts, you could advertise them as two different planners. Hope that helps!

    This looks great! Thank you. But, I have noticed that when I import in Powerpoint and then export it as a PDF is tends to get pixelated when I zoom in (the quality deteriorates) vs when I export PDF off of Canva, it does not pixelate no matter how much I zoom in. Is there any solution for this? It's just that high quality crisp graphics look so much better!

    • @RealisticPlanner

      The best solution for this honestly is using Indesign or Affinity publisher:) The problem - it's paid. But in that case you will have much better quality.

    I followed everything step by step. Made sure the hyperlinks were working within the slide. However, when I exported it as a PDF and I clicked on each tab it's taking me to an external internet web page instead of within the document. It works within Libre just like you showed me but it does not work on samsung Noteself. What can I do to rectify this?

    @vasicobut2616 Před rokem +1

    I'm new to this stuff and I built a daily planner for a whole week without knowing that I could have the document too big for Canva. Now I know that I can solve the problem in the way you showed me, but at the same time I also found out that my planner can have too much memory for etsy. If I have more than 400 files in total, do you think I will have a problem?

    • @RealisticPlanner

      Hi, once you save something as a PDF, you won't be able to change those files. However, you can always change the files inside Canva. And you can always change LibreOffice files as well as long as they are saved as a LibreOffice document and not a pdf:)
