I'll be in Cairns for the first this coming June. I've been eyeing off a boat ramp area south of the city, about 20m downstream from Packers Boat Ramp.
@@bentonfishing9696 still better than yeppoon. I take my boat out in the local creeks rivers and around the islands every weekend weather permitting and I havnt caught a legal fish in 4years now
there are a lot of good spots I seen over that side of town and around the northern beaches, I really should pull my finger out and get out there fishing again it just sucks I live the other side of town..
@@bentonfishing9696 honestly thomatis creek, had some good fish but they did dredging and it's never been the same, there isn't enough nice structure either, couple of run out creeks but she's so deep
Gees man that sucks there are heaps of good fish been caught through there even more to the open side along the rocks that I cross around the small bridge at the start.. really hope your luck changes there are a lot of good fish through that area like the 1m plus threadfin salmon at the end of the video they guys got on live bait.. all the mouths along the northern beaches have good fish just have to be there at the right time can be tricky. I will be get back out there and do some more videos soon to.

Not too good fishing around machenze at sertin times of the day you get better luck beach fishing on the left side of machenz as you come to the beach front

Be extremely careful at Machans.There used to be a croc trap in the river so they are about,a friend of mine has seen several
Looks like I need to move. I live in Yeppoon and it’s all fished out. This looks way better
alot of it here is chance or putting in the time, have had insane days fish and days where there is nothing.

@@aus2045 Recently had awesome fishing off the reefs of Yeppoon, off the harbour wall and up the Fitzroy River. Exceptional.

Iv never caught a fish there in the 18 years iv lived in cairns.
