I do NOT own the clips in this video. Thanks to Mark Blakelock for suggesting this video. Check my other video about referees! • DARTS - All the PDC re...
I've been tweeting him for several years, and he has been kind enough to reply about the genuine impact his 177, 174, 171 calls, which I call "virtual maximums." They are an asset to the game's popularity and they without doubt alter how many players go for these scores when Kirk is refereeing. It plays a bit of a mental game with your opponent.
Russ is quite a lot older to be a bit fair. A better comparison on accuracy is seeing how Kirk holds up in the next 20 years. Either way though, I like Kirk's voice and delivery. The best one PDC has found I think. Russ's voice is alright, except for his 180 call. Too drawn out. Barely recognized he said a number either. Something "oooooooooooooooooooooonehunddneiethy".
Does anyone remember the doco where he spoke pattern recognition and anticipation of jelle klaasen weird finish. It also had Wayne Mardle talking through all the possible ways of finishing 108
Can you do a video with the "pain" in his voice at the 145 after a missed 170 finish (or similar with 167 etc.). He's just the best because he understands the importance of a situation or the quality of an outshot!
I'm thinking about a video of the best calls from referees. Kirk would be the star of that video od course! If you have some calls in particular in mind tell me... I'm thinking about Wattimena-Anderson right now
The Kirkulator is going better and better as a PDC referee. Was so glad to see him in the last sets of the last World Final. I have a prediction that he and Russ Bray will referee the next world final. BTW, would you post his 170, 171, 174, 177 and 180 calls?
spd7693 czcams.com/video/mUoKEJ2lawI/video.html in this video you can find his 180, 171 (which is the same as his 177 and 174), and all his game shot calls (not only Kirk's, but from all Pdc refs)
Maybe with old Noble who called with lots of emphasis big outs but he stopped doing that for some reason... while Bray except for the great 180s doesnt add much emphasis to his calls
twiggy Unprofessional? Billiards referees have to wear suits! It's more respecting since they're the officials and illustrate the fact the sport is for gentlemen. So it's more professional when they wear suits.
spd7693 This isn’t billiards tho is it. And I wouldn’t really call the sport “gentlemanly” at all. Darts has become a lot more professional than billiards
Kirk is my favorite caller. Never any mistakes and nice clean calls
twiggy : absolutely right.
My favorite caller is Russ Bray
@@lucienr26 Statically; in mistakes and what not, kirk puts Russ too shame. None the less, Russ has a cool voice.
Simply the best caller in the world. No mistakes and a great voice!
Has the best 177/174/171 in my opinion
Guilty_Sin_Jurai your opinion is correct lol
best 180 in my opinion too :D
I've never seen a person in the Splatoon community watching darts before! I'm not the only one!!!
Agreed

What makes KB great for me is he knows those important legs, and big checkouts. And calls "game shot" louder and more exciting
Best caller in the pdc with almost zero mistakes, not like russ bray
Michael Neuss I like sound of his voice and he young. agreed!

6:44 Taylor was such a troll. 😆
i know it was only recent but his 180 in willie borlands 9 darter was hair raising, amazing

I like him but if I hit a 60 on stage, it would be humiliating the way he says it. Soooxteee
That's part of the fun. These guys are professionals, and it probably motivates them to score better!
I use My Darts Training app with his voice. His "Tweeenty six..." haunts me at night
😂
Love where he said benito van de pas
The Kirkulator
Rodriguez conutine playing darts?
And how age is he?
Could you make a similar video about Bruce spendley?
Kirk always reminds me of Harold Lloyd 😊
Shout out to Bristow's commentary at 5:26
Legend
My favourite caller
Bevins is my favourite caller

easily the best caller
1:40 ok ok I am totally confused....is it just the graphic that's wrong? Because T17 + Bulls is 101, isn't it?
He’s already thrown a 1 with his first dart

Giacomo Pietrosanti
I've watched that one already, have even liked it I think. I thought you had a separate video for Kirk only.
Russ Bray is another level
ross noble is the best game shot caller
First one watching, first Like, first comment! Great video mate!👍🎯
I Wanna Be A Referee Like Him
23c or 73f
That is the debate 🤦♂️
Can you do the same video for noble or bray?😁
Maybe with old Noble who called with lots of emphasis big outs but he stopped doing that for some reason... while Bray except for the great 180s doesnt add much emphasis to his calls
@@giacomopietrosanti-darts1195 i love nobles calls when taylor hat the 2 nine darters against wade
@@iHoRst-du6vv yes that was beautiful, but if you notice he doesnt do it anymore
@@giacomopietrosanti-darts1195 another idea: a compilation of every score possible (one clip for each score and no finishes)😁
@@iHoRst-du6vv I though about that so many times! But it would require an almost infinite research 🥵🥵
I miss when darts referees wore suits...
i found it unprofessional imo
twiggy

twiggy
Ask Barry Hearn what he turned pool and snooker into and then speak darts is more professional.
twiggy
Besides, snooker has been professional for 30 years before darts.
He’s just saying game shot. Why not put down great finishers.
Seriously? Replaying clips from matches with the same referee makes a CZcams video?? Glad you done have a lot of subs.
Yeah why not, it's not like the clips are random
Wtf
Leider nur in Englisch
Onehundredandfourdäääääiiiäää. He is a singer not a caller.🤮
I don't mind everything else, but I hate this way he calls 180. Hate it with a passion.
