- Out on my 2007 Yamaha R6 on the mountain section in the isle of man. 1st time at the TT. 1 way road. no speed limits! not my best run. alot of traffic around but always good fun. Forward to 3mins for the fast stuff. sorry just didnt get round to editing the video. See my other videos coming soon!

Well yeah, the liter bike has 400 more cc. I've owned both, and although the R1 obviously had superior acceleration and top end, give me an R6 for curvy backroads or lane-splitting, or any track besides an oval.

Awesome vid and great riding! You've got that bike down my friend... yea! I don't ride enough but I've been really laying my R1 over and kicking ass on most other bikes... I have to watch it though as I've just been in a lucky groove lately. Over my head for sure and looking to crash.... but anyone that rides knows that feeling of speed and understands the NEED! Great video once again..... now I have to get my R1 out....

Nice run! Bike sounds incredible! That R1 is fast in the straights though.
I'm a smaller rider and tip-toe when at a stand-still with the R6. There's no problem getting the R6 for smaller people, just need to lean over to one leg, or get off when reversing/pushing around. I'm using it for racing now and have raised the rear even more when I added more preload, now I always have to get off to move it around, haha! I do not like the low-seat position on most other bikes, but most other people actually like a lower seating regular/street riding.

I loved my 2008 R6 and even now in 2013 it would still be one of the quickest bikes in the world on smooth twisty roads,but I always found myself wanting more power as soon as you could use it.This is why I think the 750cc class is best,imagine a 2014 Kawasaki ZX7R or YZF750R,they could probably squeeze 140bhp at the rear wheel these days,it could be biking heaven.
that was awsome..... just come back from a long weekend at the isle of man and they've just gritted the the mountain road from just after the tram station to about 7.16 on vid.... also gritted after Quarry bends for about 1KM... was still great fun though..... didn't have all the cones at the Creg, so you can really give it some there

Nice riding, 6:36 is exactly why I got my ZX 10, I remember I used to ride with the pack and we would get out to our out of the way spots with no CHP then we would crack the throttles and the Literbikes were just too Beasty had to get rid of my 600rr after 6 months

Great Video! I like the R6 and the Blades but I can't ride them cause I'm too big! I have to have at least 1000cc to haul my fat behind around! The R1 was really nice Fiat last year for Rossi right? That and the Akrapovic exhaust sounds really good! Thanks for uploading, cause every time I see that someone else has done it, makes me want to go even more! Even though when I get there I'll pour out a little for those that tried but didn't come home. Long live the riders Long live the TT.

At 6:38 the power difference between a 600 and 1k are definately obvious. The r6 is at or near full acceleration and the R1 simply rides by. Nice vid

@vr6piloot Thanx. There were quite a few undercover ford focus police cars operating at the TT n this was one of them. theres no speed limit on only parts of the course. the rest have speed limits

@Zwanos @Zwanos Hey! yh its a GoPro HD Camera Motorsprort package. i mounted it on the front fairing facing forward with the suction cup you get. i used a bit of fishing line to tie it to the bike just in case it flys off. but iv had my bike at 174mph and its pretty strong aslong as you put it on a clean flat surface. hope this helps. u need to check out the actioncamera website
