I'm using a blue sodalite to help with my amphetamine addiction..... I have PTSD and because of all the medication I always feel tired. And never feel happy.... So a year ago I started using amphetamine and it made me feel very good and active. But after a few days of sniffing amphetamine comes the dip...... and it's nasty... I feel even more depressed and exhausted! And then I lose control.... I have to buy some new amphetamine and sniff it to get rid of the nasty dip/crash.... Now I have a sodalite hanging around my neck and the depressed feeling from the amphetamine dip is pretty much gone! I'm not even thinking of buying some new amphetamine! Sodalite is helping me a lot! I can now say NO to amphetamine!!

Although they usually recommend it on either the throat or third eye chakras, I love to place sodalite on my heart chakra. It helps with emotional over sensitivity. It makes me feel more spiritually detached from difficult people, so they affect me less. They irritate and anger me less. It diminishes receptivity to emotional negativity, and it makes me feel like I can love from a more protected place. Like I have more of the good sides of loving, with less of the downsides. It feels protective and balancing on an emotional level.
I just found some at a yard sale today!!! And it was Saturday 🤯
I found one on a beach once smoothed, I kept it for months and I remember failing my driving test twice but on the third try I put this sodalite into my pocket and I passed.A very underrated stone.

I was in the mystic shop today, and this beautiful piece of sodalite was speaking to me, so I bought it. Now I know why. I’ve been struggling with PTSD after a bad motorcycle accident where I had to have my ankle screwed back together and couldn’t walk for months. I’m a nervous wreck in traffic these days when I really need to be able to focus. I’m going to try using this crystal in the car to see if it can help calm me. Thank you so much for the video!

I just bought this stone and its been calling out to me since I’ve bought it. Took it to work with me today and felt so calm and at peace.
I have used sodalite for longer than I even knew the value of healing stones! When I was an undergraduate studying music from 1998-2003, I ended up purchasing a handmade flute. Instrumentalists always like gadgets related to their craft, so I ended up buying a crown (the piece that seals the end of the flute closest to the mouth) that was made with silver and an onyx stone. I already knew at that point that the different metals worked better for each person - kind of like wizards choosing their wands in Harry Potter. Gold is too heavy a sound for me unless it is somehow tempered with silver or platinum, for example. I play on a Sterling silver flute now. The small addition of onyx added a rich darkness to the sound, and it wasn't until several years later that I worked for a flute dealer who sold many of these crowns, in all different metals and stones. I ended up trading in my onyx crown for a sodalite/silver crown. Incredible purity and depth with it! So much more flexibility than onyx in terms of the tones I could create musically on my flute. And only in the past couple of years have I learned about the special properties it has, and the chakra connections! Plus, I am one who has anxiety, and am currently in a PhD program for English - lots of intellectual work and writing. I always wear a sodalite bracelet, and tomorrow when I begin the first of three days of comprehensive exams, I intend to have a little shrine set up with sodalite, lapis lazuli, and various quartz crystals next to me while I write. Sodalite is an absolute favorite of mine!

Sodalite is my favorite stone for sleeping. It makes my limbs feel heavy like I need to lay down.

I haven't used or have been attracted sodalite before recently when an obelisk of sodalite that I glued to my dashboard flew off along with a rose quartz obelisk and into my lap. I thought at first I were to use it for a friend who was looking for healing, though I wrapped it up and have had it around my neck for the last 5 days since then. I went in blindly looking to see how the stone resonated and how it can help me. In that time I have come to many conclusion through speaking out my emotions and getting to the point of it's origination. Today I felt called to look into more info on here and I have been in alignment with the properties of this stone. Now I can move forward and implement what I have experienced and have learned and how to use this stone in my healings. Blessings!

Does my sodalite bracelet get cleansed when i hold my arm out of the window while driving? I love the wind passing through my fringers so it would be great to know if that could also be good for cleansing my sodalite beads.

So now shops around my town are opening again so one one of them was a crystal shop yey!!! So I went in with the intention of buying smoky quartz and black tourmaline. So I was good and all of the sudden I went next to sodalite and I started coughing 🤣 like I had a tickle in my throat! And thank God I had water with me, because clients were there I had to get out of the shop and cough and drink water, I was fine before what was that all about!? I do know I have a hard time verbally getting my thoughts out, what do you guys 🤔 think happened.... then I felt like I had something in my throat like mucus! Not to be too graphic but the girl at the shop told me it was sodalite clearing my throat. Any thoughts thank you.

Hm. It helps with ADHD. That's interesting, because I have ADHD. One of the first stones that my dad got for me was a tumbled blue sodalite. I've since lost that stone, but I remember it, and kind of miss it. There's no way for me to know if it helped with my ADHD when I held it, because I don't remember. My family didn't know I had a mental illness until recently. I was always just a forgetful space-case, a dreamer, zoning out, not paying attention, couldn't focus, would get hyperfixated, have hypersensitivity to sounds and touch, have RSD, depression, get overstimulated, didn't have more than 1 or 2 friends, ect. You name it, I had it. No one suspected it, because I didn't show symptoms like my brother or my sister did, so I would get chastised, scolded, and punished when I failed, no one would believe me, given the 'if you would just try harder,' 'if you would just do it,' 'if you would just listen,' 'if you would just focus,' 'if you would just try harder,' 'If you would just... if you would just... if you would just...' speeches, and no one could follow my logic trains.
It wonder if my dad actually thought something was up when he brought me this stone,
I bought two raw pieces today from a local crystal shop. One is a larger one, but the other - caught at the last minute - is roughly the same size and shape as the one I had as a child. I miss that little stone.
Here's hoping this little stone can help me now that I'm on the verge of getting a finalized diagnosis.
