I was finding myself mindlessly watching the Johnnycomelatelys of the review space (that have to now have Harry’s sponsorships-smh thank you for not selling out.) and not enough of the OG and still Z BEST. Regardless of all the noise, thankfully the YT algorithm puts you at the top when you review a speaker, as it should! Thanks Zeos for nearly a decade of your brand of entertainment and audio wisdom.
I've really been enjoying these speakers! I use a pair of S400 MKII as the primary speakers at my TV with the P300s as a pair of surrounds. They blend so well together. Not to mention, the ocean color is beautiful.
I mean, some people spend 5000 on a watch so spending 3k on the best speaker system you can get and 2k on the best oled TV you can get isn't that crazy for someone who has entertainment (movies and or music) as a hobby Why can a watch be 5k and the best speakers money can buy (within reason) not be 3k?
same XD definition of "affordable" is certainly depends on what we are comparing it to but certainly didnt expect those prices haha. maybe there's a 2nd hand in the future to pick up in good condition for maybeee 1/3rd the price haha
These are a definite upgrade option for my RP-600M mk1's. The competition is rather steep though and I cannot demo these anywhere, except ordering them in and demoing them in-house (which of course is the best demo) + possibly paying for sending them back, if i end up with something else. I've been craving for the Rust Special Edition that Mads made in Denmark from start to finish, but those are 3 gemstones. Maybe next time I upgrade, I add those to my demo list!
Just bought a pair. Love them but a bit bass heavy.. probably due to room placement however I am getting used to them and I am so impressed… I think my amp could be a bit beefier but again a fine speaker!
@@engineer4862 Cambridge Audio CXA61… it all works well but i think the issue is room placement.. the speakers are settling in nicely I have some hours on them.
Also loved your review of the KEF LS60. Bought them and the secondary midrange was dead on arrival. My gamble of spending $5k on actives quickly prompted me to return them and get my full refund.
Still enjoying my S400 V1, using them with a sonos amp, sonos one satellites & svs pb3000 in the living room and its perfect for music & movies ... plus they look the part !

@@ZReviews if they have the amps sure, but slim percentage of people have those amps and everyone else can just get a good sub and pair of other speakers for much cheaper. passive subs though do sound the best with some songs and eras of music, if you have the money to put different speakers side by side and switch between them, sure.

I believe the driver's are made in Indonesia and not China (not 100% sure). From a reputable company known for quality (SB Acoustics).

103 are monsters of bass. These are more subdued compared to those. These also project better.
