"Bury, Gleaves, and Ingham leading" were three ships in the convoy. Ingham was a US Coast Guard Cutter (it is actually a museum ship now). The Gleaves was a destroyer, and the lead ship of the Gleaves class destroyers. The Bury was a cargo/passenger vessel that was equipped to be a convoy rescue vessel that ended up saving 148 men in the water from the sunken ships in convoy ON-92. There were 52 ships in convoy ON-92. 1 Destroyer, 4 Corvettes, 1 Cutter and 46 merchant ships. Only 7 merchant ships were lost of the 52 ships in total.

The video you saw is terrible for that song, the song talks about the worlfpack (German submarines sinking oil tankers) and in the video you can see Tom Hanks vs a submarine, there are better videos, but they only saw the one with the most views.

Well I should make this clear this is not how a normal u-boat encounter went. The U-boats would be under water making stuff more scary.
