It was not only mentioned in the direct I think, but when you listen to the track in soundtest mode you also can open up the infos and you can see: "Composition: Toby Fox; Arrangement: Toby Fox; Composition and arrangement Copyright Toby Fox". He and Grant Kirkhope are the only western persons to have created remixes for the Smash Bros. series and in both cases both remixed their own original compositions.

This is my favorite song from the soundtrack so far. Toby is definitely hiding some epic music that will become the next meme.

I cannot express with words how much undertale and deltarune mean to me, I simply cannot, deltarune is not only my favourite game ever, it is and will forever be part of my life. I'm crying right now because I'm so happy, i refuse to die until deltarune fully releases and i play it all. These games are One of the few things that unironically have kept me from commiting suicide and made me happy even on my worst times, specially deltarune. Deltarune and undertale have been with me for 8 long years, and will be with me until the day I die. they have changed me as a person. I simply cannot thank you enough toby fox. Thank you for everything.

Same, when i was younger like 12 i thought uhh undertale? what is that this have to be stupid game, why everyone talk about it? then when i was 14-15 i started getting courious i watched some videos and decided to play it for the first time, what a great experience same with deltarune. I think i grown more emotionally.

Thanks to Spamton, we now know that the black shadowman is just a normal enemy in chapter 3.
They're called shadowmen, and you have to dress up in 1920's clothes, and shoot them with hearts to knock their socks off their feet.

My Castle Town felt like "calm down, things will be okay," like it reminds me of that catharsis you feel after crying for a while, and this one feels like "im calm, things are okay"
I may not have been able to get too into Undertale, I mean its a good game and all, but for me theres no factor to keep playing, so I play every 3 months or so.
However, with Deltarune..
I remember playing Chapter 1. It was in the summer of 2019, and I was sitting in the car, so I played it on my switch. I was younger, so most of the emotional parts didnt really get to me.
Well, I finally got around to playing Chapter 2 last October. Then I did Chapter 1 and 2 in order. So many things sparked, it inspired my creativity, it made me laugh hard, it made me cry, and it inspired me to do pixel art!. I was able to fit into this community so well, and now that Im in, I don't ever want to leave. I've found a home here, where everyone is supportive of each other. Deltarune is my comfort game, and I play it if I'm feeling down. It's characters and their writing are just beautiful, as well as the music.
Deltarune, thank you for being with me in the dark.
In the same boat here! I liked and appreciated the Undertale game and community, but the game never really kept me pulled into it...
However, Deltarune is the opposite- it keeps you pulled in and the plot is fantastic! I've always enjoyed the game, and it has been very inspiring! Glad you're liking it too! 😄

I feel calm,happy and most of all relaxed when listening to this. It reminds me of a calm jazz song like "jump up super star" by Pauline in the mario universe but calm and relaxed so that I can listen to it any time to calm me right down.
God Toby and his crew's ability to make music is so cool.
It is kind of wild to see how far this series has come. Undertale/Deltarune has such a powerful impact on my life that it is undoubtedly a top 3 just off of how it has affected me. Hell, the fact I'm this sentimental of a game that isn't even done shows how much of a master Toby Fox is when it comes to his craft.
This kind of passion is what I love most about games. I absolutely cannot wait to see what is left in store for us in the future.

I think "the legend" is my favorite leitmotif in Deltarune.
I think this track might be my favorite from the game, along with Fields of Hopes and Dreams. I can listen to it on repeat for a long time. Can't wait to unlock this masterpiece in my save.

This ost is amazing , i didn't knew that toby fox is doing more type of ost/music it's such varied and i hope toby fox is gonna make us the best succession of game and the best story ever made in the History of indies games.
This uses the same chord progression + similar harmonies and overall vibe to "A CYBER'S WORLD". We'll most likely get a new remix for Castle Town following each Dark fountain or release of a bundle of chapters.

Toby's music is what makes Deltarune and of course Undertale so special for me, as I'm sure it's the same case with everyone else too. There's just something so adventurous, calm and exciting with all of his music, but it can totally be somber too.
For me, this song is a mix of happiness and sadness. The best way I could describe it as an example would be by saying it feels like an "enjoy the moment while it lasts" song. Everyone is happy and the music is live, people are mixing and everything, but it doesn't feel like it'll be here forever, it can end whenever. I still love it!
I guess what I'm trying to say is, it feels like you should really appreciate the time you have. Who knows what the future holds for all of us. Live in the moment, no matter what.

A fair reminder the release won't be "Chapter 3", but 3-5.
That would make sense. I remember Rudy saying something about going to church, meaning Chapter 3 is on a Sunday, meaning the school might be closed. That would also explain the screenshots we’ve seen in the light world and Hometown Day. But if this is Chapter 4, then what does that mean for the ending of Chapter 2? Was that a fake out as well?

The "Green Room" screenshot features a lot of elements from Kri's house and room; The Tsundere Cactus, the repeating stars pattern near Asriel's bed, and ESPECIALLY the two couches represent the two beds in Kris's room: the left one is Asriel's side (more refined, cured and with more details), while the right one is Kris's side (less details and not as fancy, also the cracks/slashes).
So no, the chapter 2 was definitely not a fake out, for me at least based on the evidence.
