I found the r/place Wiki's Discord server (links here: place-wiki.stefanocoding.me/w...) to be the most useful. That's where user XylO provided me with a lossless .mkv file that essentially had the entire canvas's history in one file, which was SUPER helpful!

(this is where I got the phrase "TWOW Heads" from)
I may be a few weeks late, but finding all the relevant datasets and coding/debugging/calibrating/animating all the visualizations took forever! It's here now though :) And as a plus, I learned so many new techniques with ffmpeg that I'm sure will come in handy in the future, like filtergraphs and all that! Yay - Krátké a kreslené filmy

It's unfortunate that some drawings were destroyed and such, but the ones that were saved were amazing. Everyone did great on keeping these drawings alive!

Its wholesome to see a small community filled with strangers that dont even know eachother but like the same show use teamwork to make 1-5 canvasses, its so heart warming to see a community work together

This was honestly pretty amazing to watch and also participate a bit, its pretty nice to see the bfdi community on r/place! Even if at the end everything dissapeared in a snap

As a contributor for the TWOW community segments, I'd like to thank everyone as our canvas went to the endgame, let alone Cary noticed it. It goes to show that the community after all the years is thriving and alive! Glad to thank everyone in r/place for representing the communities they fully support with!
Also for the structures we made I will give a brief summary:
The "TWOW Heads" are confirmed by us in which they are called as "robors" which the canvas shows is a Minecraft head skin from a TWOWer, valuminumbandit in which is a plot point for TWOWSMP to put it simply.
Next, the Rainbow TWOW segment shows two booksonas, the purple-rainbow booksona is Purplegaze who is a prominent figure in the TWOW Community and the second which separates the TWOW banner and the purple-rainbow booksona is tr_ in which is an inside joke from the community where it shows that his booksona is tall.
The last segment, Yellow TWOW is self-explanatory which shows, yellow cary, book and Purplegaze in the canvas where the canvas is maintained until the end.
There are also some structures that are not mentioned such as robors being maintained in a different coordinate, and neonc (which yes is an inside joke) had some progress but it was never finished.
Hope to know some of these!!!

this was so fun to watch! I remember wrestling every 5 minutes exactly with another user towards the VERY end (I was trying to keep tiny Four’s arm pixels the right color) and seeing that brief breath in time immortalized here was very very fun lol!! I hope they’re having a great day wherever they are, this community is so powerful and I hope we can all participate in another r/place someday if it ever comes back! :D
I suspect another r/place will come in 2027, as the first was in 2017. 5 years later, it came in 2022, so who knows?

The rainbow TWOW book is that of Purplegaze
The tall blue booksona is long tr_, which has become a meme on the TWOW Central discord server
This video missed the TWOW artwork of the Nonc booksona (referring to TWOWer Neonic). It appeared at (1920, 222) around 30 hours in, but was destroyed to make a Sea of Thieves logo around 38 hours in.
It was so fun to help build these with the community!
This was one of the best collabs!Wish that we can do again!

It was a fun and exciting experience that brought the community together. My favorite moment was when we defended Leafy from the british attacks, we could've keep going and succesfully claim the zone but Hasan was going to raid anyways.

i was the main organizer for the markers, it was incredible seeing all of the effort that was put into this. its especially great seeing as how the community of people who made the marker were way smaller than the rest of the r/place bfdi drawings and still managed to be a part of history!
