1. Yes, this $4000 deck loses to a common Ash Blossom, solid joke.
2. This has been a process of financing this deck through hard work throughout 3 years. Working a 9-5 job and then coming home to work on content, new videos and editing to slowly build a crowd that can actually support paying for these cards over time. Grinding on videos, on sponsor deals, to pick up a few of these every few months. This wasn't $4000 I dropped in a single day on this deck. Keep that in mind before spewing. Love and peace :)
The deck doesn’t lose to Ash, it’s only an obstacle and very easy to get around. 🤣
Also the price you paid for said cards, won’t be the same value overtime as you’re playing with them on a regular basis.
It’s best to run the lowest rarities and keep the highest for collections.
Not a flex video if collected over several years. Most of those however are clearly collectible so even with double sleeving, I would feel uneasy using cards so valuable. You're a brave soul!

Do you feel like the sleevechief overleeves are safer than dragonshield oversleeves? I'm considering picking some up, but their customer support said they are softer. Not sure they would be safe enough for high end cards in a deck.

That's awesome man! As someone who wants a full QCR deck and picked up a full QCR hero deck in OCG, it's sad to see how few options we have in TCG. Branded is a deck I was looking into as well for full QCR in TCG since they seem to have the most QCR cores, but the price is just too daunting. It's awesome that you are able to collect all of them and it must feel incredible playing with it, especially since this deck is so high ceiling and will likely get support for a long time in the future, solid investment and congrats!
Honestly Congrats! Im also on my way to maxing out this deck just for the pure joy of it. Its not a tier 0 or something like that, but I just love the deck.

Congratulations on the high rarity deck! I got into Yu-Gi-Oh! in 2019, when I found my old cards from 2005. I’ve been inconsistent with the game. Completing only deck blue eyes chaos max. But we finally got a locals here in town so hopefully that’ll help me get some consistency into the game and actually learn the in and out.
Those ultimate rare branded fusions are gorgeous. Pity we didn't get any in rarity collection 2
aluber is not a misprint, it's an errata version due to the fact that before branded the archetype was just despia
I didn't notice TIN23 having printing issues for my cards. For Bystials specifically since they have darker artworks, I highly recommend NA prints. They use lighter colors so you'll get a lot more detail.
(EU typically uses darker colors, so with the exception of Ultis where NA ones feel like glorified Ultras, I always judge them based on their artwork especially if the effect text difference in the font is not an issue)
Ive recently gotten back into the tcg after like 18 years. Ive started with a few simple decks and hope Illusion will get the same level of support as branded has as Id love to slowly max out the rarity Illusion
My high rarity cards in my Branded are a playset of Branded Fusion. They were gifted to me by a friend who taught me how to play the deck after getting back into the game after many years away from the game. I will cherish them for as long as I play the game.

I've been watching your channel for new ideas on Branded deck over the years and tried many different builds from Despia builds until now. You inspired me so much and I actually went max rarity also with all the Starlights and QCRs available. I too spend so much money on this deck that also means a lot to me.

I'm building full QCR Ashened, and it's been expensive but super worth it. Following product releases and announcements, checking pre-sales and monitoring the market. It's obsessive but in a passion way.
The whole process has been fun and I get it completely.
Its your money man, spend it how you want. Some people drink it away, spend it on clothes or cars or whatever. Nothing wrong with having a hobby. If you were selling your shoes & forsaking a holiday, yeh maybe time to re-assess, but if you’re in a position to afford & enjoy it. Go for it
Absolutely incredible! Really nice work! I also love the Albaz story and I'm currently building my Swordsoul deck! In my little experience, I'm trying to give this deck as much love as I can, trying to get every cards at least shiny and, not all will be like these in the end, but trying to pick up all the american variants of the cards, which are rare and very appreciated at my local store in Europe. Again, really and incredible piece of art you put together!!

Albion the Shrouded Dragon's super rare printing strikes a beautiful synergy between his black name text and his dark body. Same for the Druiswurm super. I commend your taste.

I was so happy that I got to upgrade my Branded/Invoked deck even more with QCR Aluber, QCR Chimera, QCR Dragoon, QCR Fusion Deployment, QCR Garura, etc. I got Starlights of Cartesia, Quem, Mirror, Dusk, Apollousa, I:P, and Accesscode, so I didnt need QCRs of those. It feels good looking at all the max rarity cards upgraded.
I really like how you made this video, like it never felt like you're showing off but I was actually interested how much those prints cost and the comparison between the alternatives. Really happy for you, keep rocking!
Respect. I've been more or less doing the same myself with some exceptions. I've tried to just get one of each of the starlights/QCRs where I could. Like I only have one starlight Jade when you need to play 2. Same with Cartesia at 1 when it's a 3 of (but you better believe I'm going to get that alt art if they print it in QCR like Japan). I did get a second qcr quem just because I didn't want the value to die over time as bad post mega tins. Deck is just fun. Feels nice to show off how much you love it and have the skill to back it up.
Personally I like collector platinum rare myself, I suggest looking at the rarity
Im so happy to see branded represented in such high rarity i just got back into yugioh and picked up branded from masterduel its way better irl so i built the deck i use from a single structure deck and have been chasing higher rarity ever since im waiting on my second platinum secret masquerade to come in its my favorite card in the deck also the platinums look amazing better then qcr imo keep on keeping on gaz love the content!
My old build of my purrely deck was over 5000€. All Handtrap Ultimate Rares like Imperm,Ogre etc added a lot of value same as some Starlights such as Kurikara or Lightningstorm and Prosperity😅.

I love branded too, but I have too much debt and other expenses to afford this with lower pay. I guess I made the right desicsion making branded despia as a seperate deck because I like the idea of the gimmick puppet lock, rather then jsut playing playing branded tear, though. My brother and I split a box of rarity collection 2 and first pack I opened had the QCR Rind. I traded for the secret rare Titaniklad the ash dragon months ago too. My favorite deck is Dragonmaids. I just haven't had people playing lower powered deck enough in recent months. Would love to own 2 more Starlight Chamber dragonmaids. Appreciate the flex, though. Starlights are gorgeous and I understand why you didn't jsut outright buy all starlight and QCR; got to pick the rarity you like the most rather then full max sometimes (love>rarity maxxing)

This Branded deck is 🔥. This deck , the videos you make, deserve a flex for all that time and effort. A Yugioh deck that is special to me is my Red-Eyes. I play it in locals but that is all the farther it goes😂. Red-Eyes not near as good as Branded but my passion for it is there.

I love euro cards but like you mention sometimes the QCR/Starlights can be a little too muted. Either way thanks for showing us the deck and get ready for the alt arts!

That’s amazing! Collecting your favorite archetype and specially in high rarity is an accomplishment. I did the same for my HERO deck. I always joke with my friends that I will always get Ash’ed 😂but I’m proud of my shiny piece of carton

While I'm not a max rarity type of person, I do pride myself in most of the cards in my Kashtira deck that can be Prismatic/ Secret Rare are and it makes my Magpie brain go all happy.

whoah, nice work galzo! It does feel different to play a max rarity deck (especially when you see your opponent just ramming your cards together instead of shuffling them normally lmao).
I'm not quite where you are yet, but lately I've found out that "being too drunk" is not a valid excuse to cancel orders on cardmarket, so now I am a proud owner of a starlight Mirrorjade myself :')
Still missing a few cards to really call it max rarity, but everything in due time:)
Playing the QCSR makes sense if almost the entire deck is in that rarity, but ultimate rares are just amazing, I like them way better than QCSR
My friend pulled a starlight mirrorjade and that has me jaded as fuck, he dont even play yugioh in person too lmao

I remember a friend opened 2 Alubers and sold them for 50€ combined while I was screaming he should keep them because I believed this deck will get support (lore enthusiast). Then we got the Albaz Structure announcment, he actually loved the deck so he bought back 3 Alubers at the full hype (I believe he spent 360€ total). And as if he didn't learn anything he opened 2 Guardian Chimeras in BaCh, went to sell them for 20, I bought them both and when Chimera reached 60€ I sold him 1 at 10 + some commons from the Albaz structure deck.
Never expected in my life I would teach finance with Branded Despia.

2) Why the f* you should explain yourself for buying something you are so passionate about? Personally I'm not a rarity ho for meta, but for cards I wont ever sell (like Unchained, DDD, Yubel, HERO) or my favorite staples (Droplet/Econ/BoM etc) I always go for something special. It's a very impressive collection, so I would suggest waterproof inner sleeves on top of double sleeving for maximum protection (I got some from OCG, it's been 3 years without changing the inner sleeve and I finally dealt with humidity that was a huge issue in my area)
BTW I also don't like QCR that much, EU OTS Albaz is peak

£30 for a single copy of minimum-rarity Quem is really annoying. I felt like I was paying through the nose dropping £20 on Granguignol and £15 on Bystial Lubellion, and I couldn't justify practically doubling that total price for a single extra card.
Never mind Sanctifire, which is another £18 or so... Much as I love Brandon, I can't justify spending those kinds of prices on the regular when I don't even go to Locals, let alone competitive play. I just get the cards to play with my friends on occasion and for the sake of collecting them, so I'm slow-rolling it, buying bits and pieces here and there and making do with worse versions of the deck until I get a new piece.

I don't mind how much budget you spend for build the decks, which rarity you want, etc. Your money, your rules.
What I dislike is anyone that spending budget building a deck, especially top tier meta, but when those recently built deck got hit by banlist, they went into a great depression and started to badmouthing any other physical card players and overglorified digital games like Master Duel, Duel Links, etc just because of the Free Crafting cards or getting packs without spending real money.
Well, feel free to prefer which one we like, playing physical cardw or digital one, but no need to badmouthing the others that different from us.

I disagree on the bystial secrets. I have maxed dragon link and seeing they all near eachother look so clean. It also partly matches a lot of other cards that only come secret like Seyfert

So idk if u are aware this is not the most expensive deck in the history of the game. That goes to 2009 Teledad. Dads were $250 at the lowest if u can find someone to offload at that price. The deck ran $1500-$2k well the wearer version. Factor in 1 crush card and 1 gold Sarcophagus ur at basically $5k and ppl played multiple so the most expensive the deck could be is over $10k and the teir 0 deck in the format
Not trying to hate, but you did count cards that weren't in the deck (exp: surpasses 3 copies of certain cards). So there was no need to add those few dollars to the total amount. Wasn't even necessary for this flex.

def, super minerva prize card is like 2700+ and ultras are 5 figures, you can make a blue -eyes or dark magician deck more expensive than branded for sure

Big welcomes are 20 Ulti,
Ariannas are 50-60 CR,
Field is 30 CR,
Arias is 55-60 QCR
Welcome lab QCR is 130-140. And that is just the core, not including any staples
guy at my locals plays with 3 dds blue eyes and dark magicians in those decks.. that alone is over like 10k
@@Samiboy656 Not even close, lab doesn't have as much as branded in terms of QCR/starlights. If you play the trap trick build, most of other cards are limited to like secret (daruma, back jack etc) and a few to collector (I think trap trick), while furniture's max rarity is a super lol. Overall less high rarity cards compared to branded, you can't even compare these 2. TCG seemed to be a big despia fan
