F2P servers should be an option, low spend servers should be an option.. once you pass a certain threshold you’re in an open server with max p2w
still hope for 1 or 2 seasons, if the devs keep being greedy, might give up. It is basically a ROK with a functional range unit.
I've been falling off a little while after S2 Belleron started. Really if you can't spend frequently it gets harder and harder to keep up
used to play in server 53... mow restart in 469... theres so much quality life for f2p
I am still thinking of getting into whiteout survival... I was checking my old account out, on server 730. The game told me it was 193 days since I logged in. I went to check the servers, the newest server is 1600 SOMETHING.... More than DOUBLED their servers in half a year. That game is doing SO well still... insane.

ngl, ive been playing Bugtopia and its legit the same game but bugs. XD so ive been playing this at the moment but im tempted to boot up Whiteout Survival and see what it looks like now
I noticed how MrSneaky low-key plugged Whiteout Survival, lol. It worked because I checked it out after watching his video. It looks cool but I like the fantasy (Wizards, dragons, elves, orcs) genre better.

I said this shit before even belleoron came our: the treaty grind for f2p will take YEARS to get enough for t5
I get the data but honestly from a game perspective, Call of dragons is so much better than Rise of Kingdoms and Whiteout Survival (So basic and just boring). There are a lot of issues but there are also other reasons, for example : Invested. Rise of kingdoms retains high player count because of people playing it for so long, investing time and money so it's hard for most of them to move of it! Anyways, I will stick to call of dragons since I played this every other similar game feels so dam boring

I’m a mild spender on the low side, usually invest real money when a new hero comes out and that’s about it so I’m still T4 and that has made me worthless in the past two alliances I’ve been in. Told I don’t participate enough, I’m not allowed to occupy a large portion of villages and I have just slightly over 3 million total troops. My hospital fills quickly, limited in the better elixir villages, and in most wars I do all I can. Despite the high amount of building time, donations, assisting and contributing in every other asset, it’s not enough. I want to quit because it’s just not fun as a T4 and the crawl to T5 if you’re not a spender.
Playing on 297 and we have not many T5, but still do pretty well nonetheless because we play as a team. There are two kind of people in this type of games, some are focused only on winning and some find fun in playing together with their online friends/ "family" even when fighting superior enemies. Those focused on winning will often leave for greener grass elsewhere or stop playing once things are no longer easy. As long as you are an active player, the issue might not be with you, but with your ally/server.
It is a bit sad to see the trend of CoD becoming less popular continuing. I hope the latest changes will help to turn the trend around. One of our T5, who stopped playing initially, just came back. Hope more will follow.
Chisguel has practically given up on CoD you used to see him daily now hardly ever yet still putting out RoC stuff
Last 2 seasons it is been so miss matched, I am at 88mil power my alliance around 14b we got match with 2x old alliance 24b and 20b , we don’t even have their hero’s archery and cavalry, it doesn’t matter the diplomacy either one not going to give us the dragon , no way we can win them , boring game
MrSneaky thanks for the video. But the message is disappointing. I was thinking of buying Hosk soon, spend some more money, and awakening my Lylia. Now, I'm wondering if I should just hold off until the game improves, if it improves.
Also, you mentioned the "game is dying," and you show Google trends line graphs and Chisgule's COD channel low viewer count to show the lack of interest in COD, but is the player base actually declining, are players actually quitting? Or is it just that players are not quitting but player base is stagnant, not growing, that is, no new players joining, installing uploading game?
I would also like to see your follow up video on how COD can improve so the game won't die.
To much pay to win, spenders are years away in progress and to catch up you have to spend a lot. It's a game for rich people.
Or, a simple free to play game has convinced thousands of people to drop thousands of dollars on it. I think it comes down to how competitive you are. How much work and effort, time, money and organization. Plenty of people enjoy the game and they don’t spend a single dime other than their time.
Yeah, it's not as "Free-to-Play Friendly" as it was hyped up to be. There's only like five F2P players that just became T5 after over a year of playing and were only able to do so in that time period because they joined when game started and joined "Whale Alliances." That is not the normal experience for the average F2P player or new players joining now. All the whale alliances are in the first 200 servers, new servers are almost at 500.
This game gets lamer with each season. The direction the game is going is terrible. Need more free healing, less deaths...let's have some epic wars! Stop the pay to play. It's like they are just milking the whales for all they can before the game flops.
There's an inherent problem with f2p (=p2w) games. The p2w players need f2p to beat up. If f2p quit then the low spenders are the next to be beaten up. The devs need to put enough mechanics in place to make the f2p game viable.
The game originally had elixir healing, which gave f2p enough reason to play. Now the Devs are phasing out elixir healing. The f2p choice is quickly becoming between rss healing whilst playing the game or hiding from KvK so that they can develop buildings, tech and troops.
When you get to the stage that you can't effectively play the game then you quit.
Dang, is that a rumor or has it been confirmed. If so, that is wack. I agree with what you said. And being able to lose a march daily is what keeps me in the fight. Otherwise as you said, all resources are used to upgrade and train.
yeah, this last season makes me just want to go to a dead kingdom to farm for 3-4 seasons to play one season. Maybe I just play 3 seasons a year (118m power currently). The game is becoming pay to play not even p2w.

Where have you been the last few seasons?
Last season I took policies for the most elixir healing and reached a capacity of ~500k. The previous season it was over 1000k. Last season I spent over 300M/300M/200M/150M on healing as a t4, regretting not taking the rss policy instead.
I start a new season on Friday 23rd August 2024. I won't be focusing on elixir heal any more, it isn't practical for me with 4M troops (nearly t5).
The devs fucked up letting 100s of people leave certain kingdoms the season before kvk is killing a lot of kingdoms didn't help like 😂
Just returned to the game after a year and really wish I had just logged in for 5 mins everyday just to keep research going. I spent a few hundred to get ahead and now the average f2p is about 10m power ahead of me, also about 10m closer to T5 then me too. I would need to spend another few hundred just to catch up to everyone, and even more just to hit T5. They should make it a whole lot cheaper to get to T5 and then focus their making money on artifacts and new heroes. Because the biggest turn off for me it the T4 vs T5 fighting having most of your army in the hospital. But getting T5 shouldn't cost as much as it does if it were cheaper then more people would actually spend money on the game. Nor should it take that long to reach T5 to begin with.
all players that love this type of games are already in ROK.. they have to balance it out between whales and free 2 play to get new players.. i tried to recruit my friends but they know its p2w just looking at the game i did not tell them.... they have to balance it out somhow
White out survival putting out there some nasty fake adds to bring players. So fake
F2P players are in passive mode, waiting for a hope, for a bright future that will might come :)

Devs need to develop lots of mini games that will give FTP players way to earn more free elixirs. If P2W players don't have FTP players to beat up on, this game will die.
Playing (and spending) both in rok and cod. I don't think their has been enough to make this game feel different from rok on a day to day basis. Personally I think that only having 3 factions STILL leads to a lack of variety in the game. (In comparison to rok). Biggest thing I find kind of funny really in comparison, in rok free healing is not there and people fought for days while wasting resources. Here we have it and NOBODY fights. If rok adds the elixir healing route, I will jump back over in a heartbeat.
Well the devs transformed every mechanism from rok to cod, like season stuff, kvk etc, it will be more easy and convenient for them. The cod in the beginning was amazing especially season stuff was different from rok. I quit rok and now it's like nightmare is coming. Devs you sk
Don’t look to cruel , for f2p any new bonuses they add is good 👍 so does not matter if they copy similar bonuses and mechanics from any other games - it helps f2p community get more gems/speed ups and events make people more entertained
Fun fact even if you medium spend, grind daily, you can't open t5 in more than a year. They just don't let you. Sk my sneaky bls
Mid-spender are t5 before a year, its true for low spender tho

I spent in average 20 per month for a year, and got T5 in almost exactly a year, in my alliance, "medium spenders" were seen as people who spend from 100 to 250 per month, idk what your definition of medium spender is, but if it's that one, you're definitely wrong

Did you guys see the merit shop? Soo sad haha the daily only give 1k elixir and weekly if you lucky you get 4 20k elixir and 5k elixir haha. Dev want us to use rss healing. Bye2 f2p
All devs should do is just to increase resource healing so free to play could enjoy game not for 2h of war in 48 hours of recovering .
And to add bonus free healing to 7 quest per day line - add 20k potions
And 3rd to give x10 recovery pet potions
And that it, nothing more so people will be happy……..

F2p need helped out massive the arrow and treatie grind is criminal the artifact event most rip off thing I have seen in a game even the rss nodes are diabolical this new kvk sos the merits getting secret nerf the alliance allowed invading certain zones before getting to the dragon killed it even more in OKs and s90 kvk the amount of f2p to get zeroed is actually stupid the amount of people who have quit just our season whales and f2p is a joke at thus point
I am a mid spender and agree. On a full CP bar I usually only get 10-20 arrows, insane. I will get to T5 eventually, but the arrows are a major road block and super frustrating due to the low drop rates.
They must be hurting for profits because the drop rate for needed items has gotten worse. They are pushing for people to spend.
