  • Some notes about the audio: There is some change in the audio on the remastered cutscenes. There better quality, small but better. And there is no weird cutting sounds at the end.

    I am now convinced as I ever was that 60fps and "clean visuals" completely and utterly ruins the cinematic value of a movie.
    60fps + is great for games, however the original feels like I'm watching an older movie, whereas the remastered feels too clean and feels more like an in-engine cutscene than anything else.

      Whole-heartedly agree. There's certainly a quality I can appreciate about it, but its certainly not my thing. I'm still baffled because as far as I can tell theres no way to go back to the old versions without playing the barely functional original steam release. Feels extremely weird for a remaster so otherwise eager to preserve the game's history. Utterly bizzare.
