Idk why i specifically brought this example, but when i was seeing people post this stuff, i kept noticing that the most.
The only AI that's "good" in my opinion is AI voices, it can be a great assistant for animations like if you're making a meme, or just a think a specific voice fits, but it also has flaws!

A lot of AI are trained on art of white people, and even those that are made of mass datascraping tend towards making white people because of large scale cultural biases in what art gets produced. If these AI are are thieves, and thus only reproduce what already exists, then this category of problem with them reflects the biases of the society they steal from.
And some people think we live in some kind of colorblind society. This is just the tip of the iceberg of the horrible racist shit still happening today.

I immediately got genuinely invested in the Doug Flopguy scene. The fact that there is no more audience to set him up for it and he has to do it himself, that he seems to to be the only one to "get it"... He's only doing it for himself at this point. @@rowboat10 People seem to forget that what makes an artist isn't technical skill but the ability to express yourself. I am actually really excited about AI art as it's going to let artists create more and experiment more easily.
Most jobs are there to provide for humans. If AI takes jobs from humans, that really doesn't sound like a bad thing to me. We'd be provided for with less effort. This is a good thing.
I don't think it'll replace humans, but our current economic systems will apply pressure so that fewer people will be given jobs augmented by ai to increase throughput. That's the issue. We should have switched to worker cooperatives a long time ago.
