UPDATE: the fishing bonus is not because I got three fish in a row. That bonus is random and can happen at any time! đđŒ
Some extra tips as you continue to progress :) When you unlock Forest of Valor, Canola seed is going to be the better item to farm for better money. I believe the seeds sell for 25 and once you harvest they sell for over 100. Iâll sell over 100 and get 16k for it. Same with cooking, once youâve unlocked Chez Remy you can buy cheese milk eggs butter and then make tons of soufflĂ©s they give you a lot of money. Lastly when you get new biomes and you donât have the upgraded tools to get to the other side which is blocked my mushrooms or whichever, just unlock your Well, then you can simply go into edit mode and move your well to that other side and use the fast travel :)
Also after canola, pumpkins are great too. While we are on moving well teleports, its also good to move orchards together to make it easier to farm them :)
I don't understand why people feel the need to cheat in simulation games like this... Like clearly they didn't intend for you to be able to transport over there so why would you intentionally ruin the intended game just to get your pumpkins a little faster lol.

My tip would be don't worry about saving gems, on one hand you will need many of them for future quests but realistically, once you do need more later you can just re-farm them since you'll want to grind xp with your miner buddy anyway.
Yep! I totally agree! I sell all of them. I just finished the Ursula quest and just re-mined all the gems I needed! đ
So far iv cone across 4 different stsr path jrm related quests. Sale 15 emeralds is the hardest one so far.
So you might wanna save some just incase.
If you struggle with fishing close your eyes and just click the mouse when you hear the sound it makes when the green circle pops up, I find it much easier to just do it by sound rather than looking for the circle.

I will say to choose Merlin as your first gardener he uses magic at a distance to pull the extra crop rewards. currently all but two characters get in the way too much for the multi harvest random events when harvesting your farm.

There is an outdoor oven. Move it over to your garden. You do not have to go indoors to cook.

Good tip, make soufflé once you get Remy's restaurant (eggs, butter, milk, cheese) you'll make easy money. Make a chest or two from the DIY desk and place them near the well so that when you need to drop some items you can do it directly at the fast travel site. When you unlock the beach, DONT sell all of your gems until you meet Ursula and go to the cave.

tip from me you can practice food at ratatouille realm, I went there after Remy moved out and experimented with some dished without spending actual food on it. That's how I noticed that if you use 5 fruits instead of 1 in the fruit salad - you get more energy points

Think sugar cane should be included as it only costs 10 per seeeld, profit is doubled per seed, and it only takes 7 minutes to grow, and it only requires one watering.
Granted that's alot of planting an growing lol but if your gardens big enough you could potentially be in a endless rotation that never stops lol đ
At 1:37 yes, you can do that but what I do is bring someone I really want a high friendship with and bring them around with me until level ten friendship as your friendship goes up even if itâs not their thing you chose!
For example: I bring Minnie around everywhere ( her thing is foraging) if you break rocks friendship still goes up

Wait. You made goofy gardening? When his hobby is fishing? Ok ok here's how it goes. Mickey/walle gardening (since they both express interest in it) goofy and Moana fishing. Remy and merlin foraging. And mcduck and kristoff/Maui mining

Ify you can eat made/cooked meals and get a gold glowing bar and get a bit of a speed buff for running around getting stuff off the ground, blue is the regular bar then if you eat a meal u could get a full blue bar into gold bar for speed

I got this game a few days ago i made Scrooge my mining buddy too đđđ. And though i didn't learn anything new let me contribute a little. My tip is upgrade your house then put the chest that comes with the house in your inventory go to Scrooge order up as much as you'd want. If you put one in your house and every biome it shares inventory you'll never have to run home dump anything or try to remember or go back home to collect something. My other tip go wild in the restaurant you find Remy. Learn as many recipes as possible you can't leave with anything so just dump them on the floor and anytime you need a boost up teleport to the castle using the map directly there stuff yourself and exit will take you back to where you teleported from. I think I'm gonna try maxing some people before i get others by doing this i might get quest bombed but at least I'd have funds etc so the new ones don't have to wait long to be placed home. I wondered if there was chocolate pie and ended up with a heart shaped cookie wheat, butter, cocoa.

@@LetzPlayK I just learned if you put the crafting station Scrooge give you in your inventory and go his store with it you can as many as you like for 1 coin each. I'm currently working on getting everyone on 10 then I'm going for Moana realm then opening the other biome. Keeping myself from being overwhelmed with who to level, seems like to me gardening and mining levels faster. I definitely have enough to house them but I'm working on other things. I'm definitely gonna end up on quests bomb when I'm finished. It's fine though because when they hit like that it's on to story progression. Though I know the get rich thing I rather as I need it so I don't get bored. I heard about Minnie's quest so I think I'm prepare for that ahead of time sounds like a monster! With all the parts needed. She wants them in the hundreds! I'll work as I go to get there this 200 clay business sounds like a nightmare.
You can't move the ponds though or any extra rocks and that can be super annoying when it comes to redecorating.

Goofy doesnât give you a bonus on farming by default. You chose his bonus to give a gardening bonus.
And the bonus âshowerâ of extra items you talked about for fishing isnât because of getting three fish in a row perfectly. Itâs a random shower bonus that all of the âprofessionsâ are able to trigger. Itâs just random.
And you canât move âanything, anywhere,â you can move _almost _ anything, _almost _ anywhere.
I donât believe I said Goofy gave a bonus by default, but just to bring âyour farming buddy along, which mine is goofy.â
Your right about the fishing bonus. I was still pretty new to the game but I pinned a comment under the video explaining that thatâs not the case. Thanks for the reminder.

I just started playing and went to redeem my bonus items for having the DLC. It asked for me to use cloud save but is that only for cross playing on other platforms? Or is it wise to do that to hopefully prevent any lost save files just on the switch alone?
Itâs technically for the ability to play on other platforms but it couldnât hurt to do it in case you want to access you Mr save somewhere else if something happens.
Hello k! I am new to Disney dreamlight valley and new to your channel!
I am having trouble assigning roles for my characters, I didnât know that was possible lol⊠so I have most of my characters at level 6 and i used to see the option to select a role (just didnât know what it was at the time) but now it doesnât give me an option to choose, it just shows the new reward that I unlocked and says âclick any button to continueâ but I cannot select a role. Is there another way to select a role ?

Hi!! Thank you so much! Once you select a role, you canât change it unless you craft a training manual for the villager. Once you craft the manual for the role you want them to be, you gift it to the villager. I think only lvl 10 villagers can be gifted a manual though.

Great tips, thank you! I am thinking about buying the game, but I am not sure what version to buy. Do you (or anyone in the comments) have an opinion on which version has the most value for your money?
I bought the regular $30 version and I am really happy with it! I think, and what I've heard other people say, is that you should only consider buying the more expensive versions if you feel like you really want/need the extra content that comes with it.
I bought the ultimate version, my reasoning is because I'm a huge Disney fan and I collect things. So I naturally wanted all the extra items the ultimate came with. I also wanted the moonstones it came with since I typically spend on games I really enjoy anyway. I would say, if you don't really want the extra items...then either the standard or deluxe are fine. But same goes for the deluxe, I'd only get it if I really wanted the additional items.
Technically if you want the most value, ultimate would be the best one. You get all those items plus the in game currency which if you calculate how much itâll cost to buy that same amount, you are getting a good deal with the ultimate pack. But I got the standard $30 one and I donât regret it

Tomato's have the best return on investment you get 3 every time you pick a plant, I do 100 at a time and with a friend I end up with around 450 each time when I am done harvesting them.

The crocodile's favorite food is lobster and you have to feed it multiple times over a couple of days to get them as companions. However, just as a heads up, I think there is a bug with companions at the moment for some people. No matter how many times you feed the critters they don't become companions.

I don't know which starter pack to buy, is it worth it to get the ultimate edition? Or is the normal edition also good enough?
So it's hard for me to say because I bought the normal edition and I am really happy with mine. I have seen some people say not to buy the ultimate unless you really want the extras it comes with. And I saw some saying the bought the normal and plan to upgrade to the ultimate. Not sure if that's actually possible but if it is, maybe just try the starter and if you really like it, upgrade!

I'm getting desperete so posting this all over youtube is like my last hope. Is there anyone who knows how to solve error 3 on steam upon trying to start dreamlight valley? So far, re-installing both the game and steam itself is useless, as well as any comapibility settings. Also tried most of the online guides to solve the issue and nothing work.
