I love your collection and your recommendations. I discovered Ex Nihilo and Boadicea from watching your previous videos. Your descriptions were very accurate or we probably have similar sense of smell. I also placed an order for Lira and Italica, again after watching your other videos. Thanks Gabby!
@@dr3967 yes! def a beautiful combo.. but first i tried 2 equal parts, and Dama Bianca was to overpowering 😅 so 3 sprays of Lira x 1 spray of Dama Bianca does it form me 😍 both beautiful fragrances💫
I finally took the plunge and bought Dama Bianca! It came in the mail yesterday and I am in love! Do you have any suggestions on lotions to layer underneath it. I already looked and the Dama Bianca body cream is out of stock!
I think this line would be too gourmand for me and I have to admit I really don't like the bottles, but I still super enjoyed this video because I appreciate the way you describe fragrances and I like your personality. So yeah ❤
Xerjoff casamorati Dolce Amalfi 💛 my all time love! Its so so good on my skin.. ☺️ And layer it with Bouquet Ideale💛❤️ My number 2 of the line casamorati is Regio🖤.. yes it's more masculine but i wear it and i love iT!! Much love from Amsterdam ❤️
Fleur d'olivo by casamoratti...tested in store it smelled great on me. Afterwards, when I bought the bottle it wasn't so great anymore...green with a parsley drydown(!) on me...I gave it away.
Bouquet Ideale is similar to House of Oud Golden Powder. Both are stunning. I completely agree with your rankings. I have the 30 ml of Dolce Amalfi, like it a lot, but not sad to have the small bottle. When finish my 30 ml Dama Bianca, I will repurchase the large bottle. I have the small Lira which I love, but doubt I will replace as there are so many good vanillas out there. I bought the large bottle of Italica for my 60th birthday last summer. Love it so much. I agree that it is not a blind buy, especially at the price. Love your videos.
What is your opinion on Dior Addict. I know its an older perfume just recently heard about it when looking for a vanilla perfume. I almost did a blind buy good thing I didn't. I didn't like it. 😕
I've heard so many good things about Lira and Italica. If I picked up Italica, hopefully my wife and I wouldn't disagree on who gets to wear it! LOL Among my recent pickups are Mefisto and Mefisto Gentiluomo. These two guys are extremely classy, clean and mature fragrances - essential warm weather go-to scents. Both of them lean towards the masculine side, but Gentiluomo has a powdery quality that really brings out the florals, so I think that many women could pull this one off too.
It's fascinating how we perceive fragrances in completely different way. I've just returned a bottle of Dolce Amalfi (it was a blind buy) bc I expected somewhat lighter, brighter, summery fragrance (judging by the name and the color of the bottle) and all I got was spiceness from cloves, a little bit of woodiness and incence, but no fruitiness at all. I might have bought it at the wrong time of the year. 🤔As You Said, I suggest sampling it before buying it. I'm considering getting some other perfume from the Xerjoff house.
Dolce Amalfi 💛 is my favo parfum of the casamorati line... When the sun is burning on your skin and the nights are still warm, try it.. its amazing! My number 2 is Regio 🖤
Thank you for this! I love Xerjoff, and I think we have very similar tastes and noses, because every single one of your descriptions is exactly how I experienced them-with one exception that makes me kind of sad. Lira I haven’t purchased yet because it sometimes gives me lemon caramel cake…but as if someone dropped a few drops of something very chemical on the cake when you’re not looking. It’s there then it’s not…then it is. I’m so sad I have yet to enjoy Lira as others do. Or as my other Xerjoffs. I have Italica-LOVE, Dolce Amalfi-love, and I also have La Capitale which I find divine. I keep putting Lira in my cart but not finishing because of that faint chemical smell that apparently only happens in my nose lol.
Oh no, Luv, I also can't handle Lira, get pretty much the same as you, a sticky sweet, synthetic lemon cake smell, since Lira I know that I don't like this kind of lemon gourmands....;)
Gabby I don’t know if you have Juicy Fruit gum where you live, but Dolce Amalfi is 100% spicy Juicy Fruit!! So unique. I’ve never smelled another perfume remotely similar.
I have Lira, Dama Bianca and my newest addition is Bouquet Ideale, I love all 3. I also blind bought Italica but I hated it ☹️ended up reselling my bottle, Not sure if I need any of the others but I definitely want to try the rest.
I didn't like italica either. When I first smelled it I felt like someone threw cinnamon powder up my nose lol but I don't see anyone else saying they smell cinnamon so maybe my nose is broken 😂. I'm so glad I only got a sample and didn't blind buy it!
@@KJSully92 I didn’t get cinnamon, I may have liked it if so. I got a very rotten almond smell. I love almonds but it was not pleasant at all. I thought my nose was broken too lol. I sold the bottle pretty quickly, it is a very loved fragrance. It did teach me not to blind buy expensive niche fragrances no matter how much others love them. It just sounded sooooo good to me.
@@amandahetisimer3176 I'm starting to think maybe I was sent the wrong sample labelled as italica because I didn't get any almond, just straight up harsh cinnamon. Even my son said it smelled like a cinnamon donut lol. I might have to get another sample from somewhere else just to make sure. I definitely feel you with the blind buys, I've spent waaay too much money on frags I ended up hating 😂 at least they are reasonably easy to sell though.
To me dolce Amalfi is a smoky juicy fruit gum .. not sure if you have heard of juicy fruit gum but its exactly like that. I love it.. I own all the casomaroti line and I love them all.... . thanks , great video
You have the new bottle of Lira. Have you smelled the pre 2020 version ? The bottle shows the change. The original has the impression of the man’s head on the front, the new one just has some sort of design ( like your bottle)
Watched a few videos, like the selection of perfumes almond and all. My only mini observation is that you probably speak very fast in your mother language, why not, but in English when you speed up sometimes it makes it hard to understand. Otherwise great content.
I’m so worried italica will smell medicinal on me because that’s what happens to almond (and cherry) notes on my skin. I don’t bother with samples, I know I know. When I see things on sale, I will buy and return if I have to. Does anyone feel italica has a medicinal smell to it?
Yes it does due to the almond milky note but i get the more milky note. So I had to layer it with a more stronger vanilla based perfume to make myself smell like a Vanilla Almond Milkshake 😍
Italica smells like the soap dispenser in a cheap public bathroom. I was so hoping it would smell the way you describe it smelling like creamy vanilla almonds but I got a sample and it smell absolutely horrible.
I do not like lattafa raghba and I stayed away from the xerjoff cuz of that. But I sampled it one day and yeah maybe the same as lattafa for.the first 30 seconds then it goes in totally different direction than lattafa.. which I love..I hate the lattafa one... so no they are not the same ! Xerjoff is beautiful!
I love Dama Bianca and Lira, but the performance is not the best for the price. The only one I don't like is Italica. It's to much and for my nose not wearable as a perfume
Dolce Amalfi is my favourite of the line. Then Dama Bianca, Lira, Gran Ballo, Bouquet Ideale. Italica is most nauseaus fragrance I've tried. It is one the worst fragrances I have tried. Definitely not for me. Bouquet ideale is gorgeous unless it had that tobacco note. Good line, anyway
@@thuvo5167 i don't know any similar designer perfume but you can try an arabic fragrance:Al Haramain Junoon Noir. Very similar and great longevity and projection. It smells fluffy and like powdered vanilla sugar. But you can try getting a decant. The best way to decide whether a perfume is for you or not is to wear it. Not to just smell it on your wrist. Especially with many niche perfumes, if you smell from.your wrist they even may look repulsive but in the air around you they are pure bliss (example: Amouage Blossom Love was like this for me).
My favourites from the Casamorati line are Italica & Dama Bianca ❤️❤️❤️

Great list and descriptions, Gabby!! The women’s Casamorati Collection is all such easy blind buys. Thank you for the love! 🥰🤗

dolce amalfi is 🤢 its a spicy disgusting mess. dont fall for the hype
