I bought this racket one months ago. Really like it, very comfortable, easy power. I strung this racket with solinco tour bite at 24 kg.

The TF-X1 line is almost nuclear powered. I have all versions of the gen 1 of this frame and found that to tame the massive inbuilt power, I had to move toward the two lightest stock wgt versions the 275 and the 285 which reduce the mass of the frame upon contact, lessening the energy transfer. At those light stock wgts, I switched to a control multi (Prince Premier Control) in the mains at 57 lbs and a stiff poly in the crosses at 52 lbs and still found almost unlimited power, but tamable when comparable to the two heavier versions. Not sure what the target audience is for this line, because of the high swing wgts and high stiffness. I feel if TF could drop the RA down to 64, they'd have a much better offering for us. As it is rt now the TF-X1 line of frames is the most powerfull by far of any of the major mfrs offerings. It makes a Pure Drive or an Extreme seem like a wood racquet.

I’m the opposite. I like stiff racquets so I hope they keep the RA high.

I just bought the 300gram 100inch head size, and absolutely love it. Changing from Wilson Blade to this feels completely different in a good way. The racket absorbs so much of the ball's mass and then shoots it out with so much spin and power. With the Blade I felt like I needed to use so much effort, body motion and hand/wrist to get the ball to perform. With this it just does all the work for you. Hard to explain but it feels like a hot knife through butter - no effort! I used the original version X1 2 years ago and found similar feel/power/spin but was a little erratic with off center shots. Have not found such issues with this new version. I only hit with it for 3hours today, so I will figure out more soon but very happy so far. Hit twice as many winners then with the Blade 😀

Hey Jonas, how would this racket compare to the Solinco Blackout 300?

If you could, please compare it to dunlop sx300 tour. I find sx300 tour the most powerful, high spin potential and very comfortable.

Interested in this racquet. Been rocking the TF305 18x20 for several years since it came out. But I am a flatter player so maybe not the for me :D

Hey, i know your Review is at least a year ago, but can you compare These Racquet to the dunlop sc 300 Tour? Mainly in terms of Control, Spin and playability for the OHB? Realy loving the SX 300 Tour on almost every aspect of my Game apart from the OHB and Touch Volleys. Thanks a lot

You need to bring back the original intro man. I loved that intro. Don't fall into the masses with these overdone intros. Your original one from years ago is the best.

I like white rackets but I find all the technifibres to be really ugly, to the point I don't want to try one in case I like it and then either play with a racket I hate the look of or don't use it based on the looks despite feeling it's a good racket.

This appears to be the most NON-tecnifibre racquet in Tecnifibre.. Its kind of silly because Tecnifibre is supposed to be about Control not Spin and Power and that is why players go to it however I guess someone persuaded them to bring out a line to try and compete with the already x number of spin lines that are already well developed...

Tecnifibre really holding themselves back with non customiseable buttcaps, all white color scheme and grip shape. I think these are huge reasons to avoid Tecnifibre.... unfortunately!!

Looks a bit like a Head Extreme from far. My least favourite color scheme. That bright yellow head gives away the swing path too much.

Wait until you see the more extreme Extreme cosmetics ever. Yellow part is the same, but instead of the green/teal part imagine a "creamy" neon colour

@@mattiastennis rumour has it about a Gravity 98 16x19 in 2025, can't verify it for sure, but if this is true, what's the future of the Prestiges. I mean Head has a LOT of lines.

@@experientialtennis Well rumours can mean anything however its possible but it would also conflict with Radicals. Prestiges are going to be around for many years
