The mountain house opens with large windows on two sides: towards the alpine panorama of Nova Levante, while on the other two, towards the built area that surrounds it, it has a more closed character. This choice allows us to protect the privacy of the inhabitants, but at the same time to fully enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature of the Dolomites.
The exteriors of the house are covered in shingles, a traditional material of the area, which is suitable for resisting bad weather. In this way, the building fits harmoniously into the landscape and cultural context.
The house was built to make the most of the characteristics of the land. A significant part of the building mass was in fact buried, in order to exploit the natural heat of the ground. Daylight was also brought to the lower level through strategically placed skylights and openings.
The interlocking double gable roof, rotated in plan and staggered in height, creates interesting plays of light and space both inside and outside. Furthermore, it helps to reduce the overall volume of the modern house, making it more harmonious with the surrounding ones.
The interiors of the house are characterized by a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The materials used, such as wood, natural stone and steel, were carefully worked by expert craftsmen, who were able to enhance their aesthetic and tactile qualities.
The result is a mountain house that perfectly combines functionality and aesthetics, offering a place of well-being and relaxation.

A mí en general me gustan los ambientes más luminosos, pero en este caso tal cual es. Acogedor, protector, y bien integrado en el entorno. Sofisticado y a la vez práctico, los materiales me encantan.

Un po’ troppo scura negli interni a mio avviso. La cantina dei vini non dovrebbe prevedere le bottiglie coricate?

Una lagna la presentazione. Bella casa
Bella casa ma le rifiniture interne sono troppo pesanti e ripetitive, scurendo non poco gli ambienti e facendo risultare gli spazi poco vividi e più piccoli di quanto invece non siano. Avrei dato più carattere alla casa, con sfumature chiare, dettagli in legno e pietra e magari anche qualche risalto al ferro battuto, che donano più contrasto ma che hanno più similitudini con un ambiente alpino
Posso ipotizzare che l'idea di fondo del progetto fosse quella di spingere l abitante della casa a cercare esclusivamente nella bellezza e nella luminositá del paesaggio qualsiasi input emozionale....(pur garantendogli all interno tutto il comfort).....di conseguenza la scelta, per gli interni, di un allestimento lineare del tutto privo di richiami alla vita alpina potrebbe essere stato ritenuto cruciale. Personalmente trovo che alla vigilia del 2024, lo stile chalet, a cui penso lei alluda, con arredi in legno chiaro, tessuti a quadrettoni bianchi e rossi che partono dal divano per arrivare alle tavole e su fino alle tende e alla biancheria da bagno, i soffitti a cassettoni, le ringhiere in ferro battuto, le teste di cervo appese alle pareti bianche , senza tralasciare i lampadari fatti con i pesanti gioghi per i buoi, i tavolini da caffè fatti da ciocchi recuperati e dulcis in fundo la vecchia Stube con panchetta di contorno abbiano un po' stancato....e vadano un po' svecchiati se non banditi del tutto.😮 5:25 5:25
