After nearly 45 years having been away from my beloved homeland, Iran, I cannot watch anything from there without tearing up and feeling a huge sense of loss, guilt and longing to go back. Iran will always be my home. I’m so proud to have been born there. Maybe one day, I get to go back and visit every inch of it that I never got the chance during my youth before it was all stolen from my grasp. Thank you DENA for these videos. These villagers makes the climb with only a walking stick and snacks in a backpack. They have such confidence in the trek that a father carries his child, I presume his wife in a dress making the climb, and folks of various ages doing it so easily. Kudos also to the cameraman, who seems to be able to move twice as fast as the rest and so can easily film the journey with energy to spare.

@@armorv1531 yes there are more amazing things. There are cairns in the path, marking the trail. But some areas are so steep, that one misstep is fatal and there is no way to break your fall, some areas have vegetation so if you trip, you can grab them on the way down as emergency break. In one segment, there are rocks piled they use as a step. Some areas require a clamber up rocks, no steps. The climbers pause whenever there is shade, be it trees or a rock overhang, they meet another trekker heading down and make pleasantries, there is no break from the sunshine on them. No one is short of breath, even the older ones. The female trails behind, while the oldest leads. Amazing people adapted to their surroundings! I'm subscribed. The cameraman seems to be a young man, or older teen, explains his energy, as in some scenes you can see his shadow and a stick with a go pro like camera on the top.

before you fall for the trap of western media and the garbage they spread do some research, Iran in past almost 500 years has never attacked another nation, in fact it has fought defensive wars against many powerful nations. Iran accepted the path to democracy in 1952, democratic election were held and a PM was elected by the people, only to have USA , UK along with British oil interests pay for and organist a coup to topple one of the first democratically elected government in Middle East, all for saving the interests of US & UK and their access to almost free oil they were stealing from Iran. The current regime of Iran which I also do not like or support has in fact been fighting constantly since 1979 to preserve their sovereignty, and meddling from USA, Europe and Israel, the west only wants slave nations to control, but now even the Saudis have grown a pair and pushing back. Barack Obama in fact apologised on TV for their part in Irans 1953 coup. But lets not forget the over 1,000,000 Iraqis DEAD because of a lies and fabricated evidence by US & UK yet again killing in name of oil & war profits

I had the pleasure to walk some trails in France and even went on some low mountains in the Pyrenees. But these 20 cm -wide path at some points looking directly above an infernal precipice made me watch in fear for at least 15 minutes out of the 27.
I say kudos to the woman who aside from the extra weight of the dress she had to contend with the possibility (and danger) of stepping on it at some crucial points and just...falling to her death. I could hear the wind and all I could do was fear some gusts come suddenly and take the brave people away. Enchanting experience. Thank you.

"One rock rolling under your foot" OR a bunch of little ones accumulated together. Happened to me numerous ( probab 5 to 10 times) during one single fast descent. These little rocks accumulate & if you step on them, they're like water and slip away under the force of your foot, dragging your foot with it making you fall. Very dangerous if your foot slips on the wrong place. Don't hurry is my tip. Don't run like I did lol
