    Good points. Need to remember, stopping at traffic lights draws on the bank as well... getting through a city can be time expensive!

      Yeah, major cities can be annoying 😅

    Wise words. Maybe it would be handy to wear a stop watch to keep an eye on your bank time. Obviously it wouldn't take into account the time you're made up by going faster but it would keep you aware of your minimum time.

    I wish I had found this channel for my 1st 160km a few years ago. I appreciate all the knowledge you are sharing here. Im new to the sport and want to take on some big rides this upcoming year, 320-800km, and im trying to learn how to train up for it.

    Ordering food in a restaurant can be a real time killer.
    I tend to use take out places or convenience stores and then ride slower while eating.

    Good tips. I find that the further into the ride I get I want to stop less as my body starts to stiffen up.
    Would love to Audax in Malaysia

    Biasanya kalau long ride mcm ni, berapa tiub awak bawak? Dan, boleh share experience untuk video akan datang; pengalaman paling sukar/cabaran sepanjang event audax?
    Terima kasih berkongsi tips untuk long ride 👍😀

      @atwl77  Před 5 lety +1

      3 tiub biasanya cukup... Guna tayar Panaracer GravelKing, tahan lasak! 😂

    What road tyres would you recommend? Thanks

    • @atwl77
      @atwl77  Před 3 lety

      The popular all-rounder at the moment is the Continental GP5000, though for more durability I'd pick the Panaracer GravelKing line.
