I agree that Nene is selfish. At the same time, I have to say that Cynthia was being shady when she called Greg up to the Mic to gush over him under the circumstances. If she was on good terms with his wife, then that would have been ok. However, Cynthia and Kandi had sneaked around and shocked the crap out of Nene with Kenya's presence at the affair - and had allowed Kenya to speak to the crowd at the affair - immediately before putting Nene on the spot by trying to use Greg to further increase Nene's discomfort. Cynthia lied and said Kenya was not invited up to the microphone but that she had just rushed up there on her own to speak. Hogwash!!! Who does that??!! Nene and Greg should have quietly dismissed themselves from the shady fest before it came to that point. In fact, Nene never should have brought Greg there because she had to know that she was on bad terms with most of the "ladies" and in Greg's physical condition it was cruel of Nene and all of the perpetrators of the junkiness to subject him to more stress. If they cared so much about Greg they would not have done so much to irritate Nene because at the end of the day she would end up taking out her frustrations on Greg.
I remember, but that isn't the point that Nene was making. Nene felt that as a friend, Cynthia should have informed her that she invited Kenya and then Nene could have stayed home or been prepared. Why wouldn't you tell your good friend that the person they despise and no longer associate with was invited? And if Cynthia felt that Nene should get over it, why pick a public outing to force her to? None of Cynthia's actions were what a friend would do.

Porsha doesn't wanna go to Kandi's events due to Kandi's friends, Porsha always gets into trouble anytime she goes to Kandi's events so I don't blame her for not wanting to go to any of them.
I think Nene is upset that she has to be Greg’s main caretaker, while watching the other girls out here living their best lives. Cynthia is with Mike Hill (flying back & forth to Cali) happy as she can be & Kenya finally has the family she’s always prayed for. Nene is jealous that her life in this moment is not as exciting & glamorous. She was a mean girl all season.

Only this time Porsha has a man who wants to be out and about and getting money with her, a baby, a tv gig every day, the family, and she’s still younger and prettier doing it.

With all that Gregg is going through or has gone through, what kind of woman (not a wife) would deny him his shine when so many people have been rooting for him? She's going to have a lot of regrets regarding her selfishness. NeNe must not have real friends. They would check her about her attitude. Only people being paid would take this kind of treatment from someone. She's bitter and it shows. I'm surprised Ashley wants Kenya back given all the seasons she dragged her. LoL. I'm totally down for Kenya's return. The show was more entertaining when she was on it IMO. I also think she should have gotten a baby special, but I'm not surprised she didn't. The producers were pissed that she didn't want to show her husband on the show and that she got married without the cameras rolling.

Nene is setting an example on how not to be a good friend. I feel like she just want Cynthia to herself and it really shows. It is really embarrassing to see this grown woman not be mature just because Kenya is there. Last season, they didn't have any beef, so what's the problem? I'm even more mature than her and I was in that situation, last Saturday. My friend invited me to come celebrate with him on his birthday but he also invited someone I really didn't like. I could have been like Nene the whole time and be ridiculous because I'm not used to be around places with someone I don't like, but I deeply care about my friend so I'll support my friend and not ruin his day. And you know what, I was actually happy to remain cordial the whole time and ended up having fun. If I can get through that, I can get through anything, and so can everybody else.

I'm sure she is obligated by her contract to be on the show. Her husband is suffering from cancer, that's nothing small about that. A few years ago Cynthia had fibroid tumors and everybody was concerned about her health as well. If Nene doesn't work, how do you think her husband's medical bills get paid, heck, how do you think any bills get paid. This season shows who will be there when you're facing a crisis. Real friends care and have empathy.

When she realized her mask was slipping and her true nature was being exposed and she was getting a lot of criticism, she decided to take the fake forgiveness route. The fakeness is the reason why she came into this season focusing on Porsha and Dennis' relationship with her clique, yet again, to bring Porsha down. She caught herself slipping once more and gave that apology in Korea. Now she is back on the haterade again, talking about support at business events, knowing darn well the disrespect she and her clique mete out to Porsha.

I agree that Nene is selfish. At the same time, I have to say that Cynthia was being shady when she called Greg up to the Mic to gush over him under the circumstances. If she was on good terms with his wife, then that would have been ok. However, Cynthia and Kandi had sneaked around and shocked the crap out of Nene with Kenya's presence at the affair - and had allowed Kenya to speak to the crowd at the affair - immediately before putting Nene on the spot by trying to use Greg to further increase Nene's discomfort. Cynthia lied and said Kenya was not invited up to the microphone but that she had just rushed up there on her own to speak. Hogwash!!! Who does that??!! Nene and Greg should have quietly dismissed themselves from the shady fest before it came to that point. In fact, Nene never should have brought Greg there because she had to know that she was on bad terms with most of the "ladies" and in Greg's physical condition it was cruel of Nene and all of the perpetrators of the junkiness to subject him to more stress. If they cared so much about Greg they would not have done so much to irritate Nene because at the end of the day she would end up taking out her frustrations on Greg.

If Nene doesn't work, how do you think her husband's medical bills get paid, heck, how do you think any bills get paid. This season shows who will be there when you're facing a crisis. Real friends care and have empathy.

The fakeness is the reason why she came into this season focusing on Porsha and Dennis' relationship with her clique, yet again, to bring Porsha down. She caught herself slipping once more and gave that apology in Korea. Now she is back on the haterade again, talking about support at business events, knowing darn well the disrespect she and her clique mete out to Porsha.

Great review Ashley! I agree. I was a fan of Kenya before she joined RHOA, but girl 🙄...I felt so sad for Greg when Nene wouldn't allow him to join Cythnia for a few kind words. I think all of the ladies from the show should have rotating season just to keep the seasons fresh. Cast members can pop up if their needed for dramatic purposes only. 😉

Sooo let me just say this... if y’all best friend of 10+ years invited someone you do not like and she knows you do not like her to her birthday or event without telling you. No heads up, “ hey girl so and so coming to my event, just wanted to give you a heads up”. Y’all would be ok, and then lie about it and conspire with another cast member to keep y’all story straight and united. I don’t always agree with NeNe, but if my best friend did that... we are no longer friends. Idk, don’t put me in a possible situation where I might have to get out of character because of another chick. Now, I’m not saying she should have been throwing shade. But allow me the opportunity to protect my peace. A real friend would know to protect my peace and not bring me in a situation that will disrupt that. Then NeNe brought up another valid point... Cynthia never stands up for NeNe when it comes to Kenya. She always have an excuse about not wanting to be in the middle. But when the shoe is on the other foot, she is quick to defend Kenya. That just shows me that, you respect Kenya a little more that NeNe. NeNe should have took the hint last season that Cynthia wasn’t going to respect her. Y’all gotta see between the lines and not look at NeNe behavior from dealing with being a caretaker. I sympathize with NeNe, it’s a hard job caring for someone and continuing to live your life. People won’t understand until they are in her shoes. So no one can tell her how to react to dealing with this. Everyone is different, she is only doing what she know how to do. I AGREE! Knowingly put me in an uncomfortable position and we're no longer friends. I would never do that to my friends. If I'm having an event and I'm supposed to be neutral,I'm letting both sides know the other could possibly be there. I wouldn't want either side to feel in ANY way, surprised or bamboozled. Exactly and they really think Cynthia did not inform Kenya that NeNe was going to be there. This was a ploy to set Kenya up for a great return. It’s sad it destroyed a friendship in the process.

The way Porsha and Kenya were interacting at the last reunion(fighting about one eyed Africans lol) had me so excited for them to be frenemies this season I was mad when Bravo gave Kenya the boot. Next year I’m hoping Kenya and Phaedra come back. They were missing this season.
